Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
LOVED Hale's beatdown on that sycophant ATF Agent... and Darrell is right (as usual! :D ) - Jax is gonna bring the pain to Tig - and only one will walk away.
Bye, Tig. ;) Appreciate the explanation on Tig's bloody forehead - I missed the mirror crash, I guess. Question is - where will Clay come out on this? He is as culpable as Tig - how far will Jax's rage go?! Big confrontations coming. Be interesting to see what happens with Opie's character too... is he hollowed out inside, or will he become the most hardcore of the bunch, driven by a seething hatred and desire for revenge? Wow... :ss |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
 where did I say they were going to kill Jax?

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
Here is how I think it will play out.
Tigg and Jax will throw down and HARD. Clay knows he is in a bad spot. He finds out where the witness is for Bobby. To keep him self clear of all this, He sends Tigg to do the deed. Tigg gets it done, but gets smoke checked by the feds as he does this.(Clay stays in the clear). Opie turns inward and becomes a very dark and violent character. Becomes the Sgt. of Arms for SAMCRO(Ironically, taking over Tigg's place) Either the end of this season, or beginning of next, Clay makes moves to step down and sit at the table to advise Jax. From there(If it plays out that way) I can't figure any further. |

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
This is going to get nasty and I'm not talking about the dirty with Jax's wife. I'm kind of disappointed with his decision with the ladies, but I believe that is a clear indication of the direction he's going.

Maybe that gives you all some insight into my sick, twisted mind. :r Glad I finally got around to seeing the new episode last night, it was killing me to not open this thread! |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
Killer episode. It was just so well done, from the opening scenes of the SAMCRO world waking, to the end of the show as the sunset.
I don't think Tig will be killed off yet, his character is to valuable to the story. I think Jax and him will hit hard, but in the end both alive. I don't know about Clay stepping down yet. He is driven, and hooked on selling guns. I can't see him handing over the throne yet. I think Jax very well could kill Clay, especially if he finds out that he was behind Donna's death, and possibly his fathers. You can see the tension between them already, constantly butting heads. One things for sure, Clay sure screwed the pooch in many ways now. Got double crossed by the Niners and I'm sure the peace with the Mayans is fragile if not gone. The rifts he just created with the Donna incident I think will solidify Jax's intent on taking SAMCRO in another direction. Going to be good next week and next seasons. |

I agree that episode was particularly well done, kinda reminded me of the last Soprano's episode. Definitely going to be interesting to see where this goes. It's almost like they're getting ready to split the club in half. But on the other hand, I still don't think the whole 'Opie is a rat' thing was too plausible. If he was the rat, he had more than enough info to lockup the club, and the feds would have had no reason to throw him back onto the streets. Just the fact that he WAS on the streets should have been enough to keep him alive, maybe at most put him in a SAMCRO lockdown of some sort. |

I doubt that Clay is his father. Why keep the secret? I took it as Clay has been the real and only father figure in his life, for most of his life. Quote:

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
Enjoyed last night's episode... and it left me wanting more - as it should. Really not sure how the fight resolved anything... just a message, perhaps? And knowing that THEY know that HE knows ( :r ) really makes me wonder how they will deal with it.
Will there be a change in leadership? And if so, how can they do it without it becoming bloody? With Bobby "Elvis" knowing the truth - where will his loyalties lie? What will Gemma do? Piney showed some old-school cojones and I thought that scene at the end with Jax was a nice set-up for next season. This show is my favorite! :ss |

Piney Showed that Old School Bikers and Vets are NOT to be messed with and WILL do what they see as necessary. Great Show and Great episode!!!! the B!tch part is the long @zz wait until next season |

the world clay knows is tumbling down.

1. Tara gave Jax his CUT at the funeral and he made a point to show everyone there who he wants to be with Including Gemma. 2. The scene with Gemma and Clay when she told him to be the man they expect, and as he walked away, Gemma said something like "Just like John". 3. The look on her face at the end when they saw Jax with the envelope standing in front of the grave. |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
The world they both built may implode, and when am original says it's time for change that's huge. Can't wait for season two now :bh

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
This was a great season finale, IMO.
I really cannot wait for the next season. I think Clay's reign is going to come to an end next season and their is going to be a mutiny with Jax as the leader. You know Piney and Opie will follow Jax, I have a feeling that Chibs and the guy with the head tattoos will as well. Since The Shield is over, this is my favorite show. :tu |

Darrell is right :D

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
really enjoyed this last episode. as many have said, there are so many open doors for the next season. did anyone else catch that the homeless girl was the one from an earlier episode? i can't wait for the next season. i think i'm going to go fight someone now.

Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
Great friggin episode!
I don't know.... As much as we'd all like to see Jax take the lead, I don't think it will lend to the show to well. "SOA, an MC that earns legit and doesn't get dirty anymore." Doesn't sound like a show that will pick up a 3rd season. I think what ever is going to happen, Clay will be around for a long time. I could be dead wrong, but it just seems that way. Now I do think things are going to get REAL hot this next season. As for Tig, he got his ass beat, but I don't think it was enough to line him up with Jax yet. Bobby, that is an interesting twist. You could tell we was hurt bad, and knows what really happened. I think what ever his feelings are, he'll fall in line if Clay says so. When does the next season start :c |

They've done a good job of making Jax a likeable character, I think next season we'll see him have to deal with a lot of crap that lands at his doorstep. I'm guessing he'll find himself and SAMCRO stuck between a rock and a hard place, and as much as he'd like to stay legit, the alternative may be the only way to survive. The old 'good guy, bad situation' kind of story. |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
Yeah---SoA needs to keep its edge (meaning Jax struggles with the idea of a legit club while Mayans and Niners and trying-to-keep-it-together Clay storylines make it virtually impossible).
And what of a legit club? I don't think many want to watch the trials and travails of a local garage shop dealing with the weighty issues of overpriced plugs and EPA oil-disposal-fines. Tony Soprano working the local distributors for the best fuel prices for his trash trucks? Naahh... Oh, and btw--I'm now flipping on some Kanye. Why? Those Nip/Tuck trailers during the commercials. The theme song always playing. Da*n I like that song they are playing. My daughter let me know on Thursday that its a Kanye song. Been playing it over and over.... |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
I've been waiting since Wednesday to get caught up on this episode and even with all that anticipation, I was still not disappointed.
This was a great season finale. I agree with most of the theories and conjectures you guys have made. Big question is now: When's the next season? |

Day late and a dollar short.
I watched what I found out to be the last show of the season:bh. This looks like a great series, hopefully I can do some catch up until next season. Looks like there was 12 episodes in all, I'm sure that FX will run them in reruns. |
Re: Weekly discussion for "Sons of Anarchy"
my room mates and I are watching Nacho Libre and cooking up some Mexican to try to fill in the gaping hole that SOA left in our Wednesday nights. I know we're all trying to make it through til' next summer. I believe we can do it together.
