cost me close to $70 to make a full batch because i had none of the ingredients.

I used to store the cinnamon stick in the jars when I put them in the fridge. Seems to work better if you remove the cinnamon sticks after pouring into jars. Cinnamon residue gets really bad after a month or so and makes the 'shine "cloudy". But then again, it's a personal preference. It is YUMMY either way. :dr :dr :dr :dr :dr

the shine is cloudy enough as it is lol. i made a half batch and put in the quart jars. gonna try it as soon as it get nice and cold, just a sip to taste the flavor since i gotta work tonight.

my wife says thank you. while not exactly a generous pour, i did mix up for her to try and she found a new favorite drink :D

I made 10 pints from a half batch last night. I did use a full bottle of 151 Everclear in it. It is a bit strong but yummy! :dr

I did the same thing as you Bobby, but mine yielded 9 pints. I figure it's roughly 18-20% alcohol. Since I've drank 4 pints of it. So tasty :dr

I made a batch over the weekend and it's great :dr. I did use two gallons of Cider though. Mine made 11 quarts of the shine.
