The last few times I've been out riding it's been way to hot. My ass just cooks on the seat at stop lights. Any suggestions on solving this problem besides avoiding stop lights?

I know what you mean. Here in S. Florida were getting into roasting weather.
I try and ride after dinner when it starts to cool off a little.

:tu What is low/high mileage for a bike anyway? I've got a little over 8k on mine and wasn't sure if that was hi or low or just right?

I was talking to my dealer the other day, drooling over an 848 dark. He said the miles on my bike were high for the amount of time that I have owned it (November 08).

I need to slow down as I am fastly approaching the 15k service. Where they really :xxx

Hmm 15K - 18K a year for me. last year I missed a lot due to health but this year is rolling along quite nicely. It was 91, sunny and beautiful all weekend. Got in about 150 miles total.

I've been known to crash at the track every now and again. Crashing sucks. (yeah I know this is a repost from the front page but how often do you get an action sequence of yourself wadding your pride and joy? :r)

^^^^^ nice pic Justyn. :tu

Here's a pic from the trackday on the 21st.

I thought it might be my only one this year, but weak_link and my other friends put together a collection at my bachelor party to raise money for another one. And then the new wife got me a gift certificate from one of the trackday providers. I must say I'm a very lucky guy.

Just got back from 6 days, 2,123 miles in 97* heat and humidity. From VA to Memphis to B'ham, Al, back to VA. Out ran some 60 mph winds and hail by just a little bit. Great trip! What a great way to see the US.
