Gonna be a lot of new ZTs coming out this year, might want to wait for them. Or wait for the prices to drop on the old models. :2
personally I am not a fan of flippers, I will prolly never buy another one. I can't see your picture but I love stonewashed blades.

This one is only $120 new from kershaw guy. or i may pick up a Blem of the black version from him for $95.

I want a 0566 but it'll be almost 2014 before they're available enough for someone to get them at good prices. Always works like that with ZT. Happened with the 0560 last year.

I really hate the 0770, I love my 0550 Gen2 though so I feel like I need no other ZT for now.
I don't see myself buying many more production knives. I am gonna focus on customs but not going to be buying many.
My Michael Morris Friction is on order and paid for so I am looking forward to that getting finished.

I do really want a Strider though... and the XM18 non flipper... I am a big fan of the Warren Thomas customs too but would I ever use it? Prolly not, they are too beautiful.

The new 0566 is going to be like a cross between the 0560 and 0550 but smaller, and be assisted like the 0350.

How to u like that lil boker?

I really like it, I am glad I didn't buy the real Curtiss since the Boker is so well made. It is super solid, but even smaller than I thought. I can make it completely dissapear in my hand when closed. The only two knives I would recomend to somebody for under $50 is the Skyline and the Boker Nano. :tu

I do not like assisted knives, I carry a knife as a tool not as a weapon so for me speed isn't an issue as much as durability.
Simple is better for my tastes, I love frame locks more than anything. Ti frame locks make me drool. I wish the Brous SSF I have wasn't a flipper and I wish it was a frame lock.

yeh well it's a ZT so it'll be durable. you can take the spring out and use it as a manual folder too though.

No new EDC for me. Made it to the gun show yesterday, nothing really caught my eye, except for a CRK small sebenza, dude was asking over MSRP on it so I walked away.

As nice as those are, I am not in love with the the design. To me the Sebbies are extremely boring, now that may be another story if I ever held one. Personally, without handling either, I would rather have a Strider.

I've held both the Strider SMF and the Sebenza, both are great knives, but I'd buy the Sebenza first. I really like the way the sebenza feels and it would more than serve my needs. I saw a nice selection of Dalton's as well, but I couldn't bring myself to look at them too seriously, the one I have has sat in the safe since I read about his retirement.

Which Dalton do you have? Picture?
I promise myself to use my knives without fear no matter how much I spend on them.
I learned that from cigars, you will enjoy it much more smoking it than storing it.
The nice thing about a knife is isn't one use like a cigar.

I also do not collect to resale, I buy to enjoy. I don't think I could part with any of my nice knives.
Of course I try to buy knives in different sizes, brands and styles.
Some people have 12 Spydercos that are all very similar, I can't relate to that. Haha
The closest I have is two Brous blades but they are both different blade shapes and one is fixed and the other is a folder.
D2 tool steel is one of the best steels so I was able to justify these two blades of the same brand.

Does the Sebbie feel "that" amazing when you open it? I would like to try one out someday.

I buy knives with full intent to carry and use them, but something about knowing that the Dalton will never be made again makes me not want to carry it. Honestly I'll probably try to sell it somewhere down the road to fund the Sebbie purchase. And yes, it really does feel that amazing, the tolerances are so tight and lockup is very secure. When I buy one, it will probably be the last knife I purchase.
