Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0415 and it's finally Friday. Enjoyed an original Pepin Blue last night after spending 3 hours at the tire shop getting pissed. Finally got the tire fixed, rotated the others but the inspection failed because the check engine light is on. Dropping off the Jeep this morning to find out what it is. Anyway, it was good to see the Yankees win again last night and sweep Toronto. Next up, Baltimore for the weekend series. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all, the Killer Beans are on and it's looking like we have another beautiful day on our hands. Today is the rubber game between the Yankees and the Orioles as we took the first on Friday evening and they came back yesterday with the win. Also today, the NASCAR racers are out in California on a road race in Sonoma. There's plenty of World Cup soccer to watch as well. Hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well....... :chr

Congrats to the USA for ending up in a tie with Portugal yesterday, hopefully the same or better is the result with Germany so they can advance. The Yankees lost big time yesterday with an 8 - 0 loss, thank god that Toronto lost as well. There's only a game and a half separating 1st and 3rd place and we're tied for 2nd with Baltimore. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys........ :tu

Good morning all, the coffee has been on as off 0415 and it's a rainy, muggy morning out there. Well, I see that the Yankees finally won one last night and they have a day off today. They have a weekend series at home starting tomorrow evening against the Red Sox. This morning, USA is taking on Germany in World Cup soccer starting at 0900, should be another good one. As long as we end up in a tie, USA advances to the next round. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well........ :banger

We had a good crowd last night at Schlesinger's, talked sports and the upcoming Quad State Herf. Good Sunday morning all and as always, the Killer Beans are brewin'. It has a been a great 4th of July weekend so far and it'll continue with the NASCAR race being run this morning from Daytona at 1100 (11am) as a result of yesterday's rain storm. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday. We had a good evening at Schlesinger's, a number of the regulars showed up that we haven't seen in a while. Sorry to see the Yankees loose, at least they split the series with the Indians on the road. This weekend's series is with the Orioles in Baltimore, hope we do just as well or better and that will take us into the All-Star break. Also this weekend, the NASCAR racers are in New Hampshire where hopefully mother nature will be more polite than last weekend in Daytona. It was good to see the Yankees blank the O's 3-0, lets keep it up boys and tighten up the AL East before the All-Star break. Hopefully they can get today's NASCAR race in as well in New Hampshire as they are in the eye of the storm as well. Also a high five to Brad Keselowski for taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race in New Hampshire. Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0345 and it's "Hump Day". Have to be at work by 0600 as a few of us have to head off to Yale University in New Haven, CT in support of this year's Army vs. Yale football game in September. It's going to be a big thing as it's the 100 year anniversary since the fist time these two fine schools played each other. West Point will be well represented with Cadets and the Army Staff starting with the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Odierno and on down will be there. Well, congrats to the American League for winning last night's MLB All-Star game. At least the A.L. will have home field advantage during this year's World Series. Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0430 and it's Thursday morning. We had some heavy rain yesterday which is good for the ground and all and now it's looking like the temps have dropped as well. It was a rained shortened win yesterday for the Yanks and they'll be back on today at 1305 (1:05pm) to close out the 4 game series against Texas. Got to work late this evening manning the Emergency Operations Center table at the New Comer Orientation briefing, hopefully I can still get to the cigar shop afterwards for a short one. I see that the Yankees lost 6 - 4 and fell back to third place 4 games behind the leader. They still have time to catch up but it's easier to do it now than at the end of the season. Heading out shortly on a 2 hour ride to the Poconos with the West Point Honor Guard for the weekend as they will be presenting the US Colors during the opening ceremonies for this weekend's NASCAR race. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work for a couple of days after a great 4 day in the Poconos. We had a great time, the weather was perfect and the Honor Guard was spot on. It was great to see my favorite racer win, Dale Earnhardt Jr. driving the #88 National Guard Chevrolet. I see that the Yankees too 2 out of 3 from the Red Sox this weekend as well as winning last night 2 - 1. All I've got to say now is that this is Quad State Herf 9 week and it's gonna be balls to the wall from here on Enjoy everyone......... :)

After this weekend's Quad State Herf, I fly to Detroit early Monday morning to be on an evaluation team to inspect the Detroit Army Arsenal and the Emergency Operations Center. Back to the present, it was good to see the Yankees win last night 5 - 1 over the Tigers, hope they can keep it up as the play today with a 1300 (1pm) game time. This evening, we'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar finalizing those minute things for Saturday's event and smoking primo stogies as well. Good morning all, the coffee is on and I'm back in NY. I spent the past few days right after the Quad State Herf was over in Detroit, MI. I was initially sent out there by the Army to evaluate a scheduled "Active Shooter Exercise" but that changed drastically as the entire Detroit - Warren County area became a flood zone. Major highways are still closed down as we speak and hundreds of cars are stranded / water logged all over the place. We were in Buddy's Restaurant and as we were enjoying our pizza, the flooding came very quick. Within minutes, we were standing in a foot and a half of water in the pizzeria and had to be rescued by the local FD with small boats and such to higher ground. Right outside of the establishment, there was a a 30 year old lady having major problems. We found out later that she didn't make it: Good morning all, the coffee is on and I'm back in NY. I went out yesterday with my wife Beth with the intentions of going to the Newburgh Brewery and having a couple. Instead, we went by the Jeep dealer across the river in Beacon, NY and we ended up trading in my 2 door 09' Jeep Wrangler X for a 14' (Brand New) 4 door Wrangler Sport Unlimited (color - Amp'd). We pick it up this week after they prep it and all and oh yeah, got a great deal as they want to clear out the 14's for the new 15's that are coming in.
