Good work, Bob. :tu :ze

I started back Tuesday after Shack, today will be some back/chest super sets.

Leg day! Got more volume overall.

Leg press
Leg extensions
Hamstring curls
Calf raises

A little bit of cardio too on the treadmill.

Not the greatest day at the gym. Skipped yesterday due to my stomach issues. Went in today for chest/shoulders. Got thru dips and some seated presses. Went to go do incline press and my shoulders weren’t having it. Did some extra cardio to at least feel productive.

Hope the shoulder feels better next time, Bob.

I'm taking a day off to rest my old bones.

Greg, with all the wear and tear, I considered dropping to 4 days a week.

Then I thought how bored I would be the other 3 days, smoking breakfast cigars and sipping mimosas. :sl

I'll keep going 5-6 days. :lr

Ok, back at it. Chest and shoulders. Went light, but lots of reps, pushing most times to failure. :ze

Glad you're back at it, Bob.

I've got a double today before work. Hip has been a b!tch lately, I know one day it will demand repairs. :hn

Yea, just had to give my body a few days to recover. My shoulders feel good today. But then I didn’t do dips. Lol.

Good pull day. Lots of reps/volume again. Used the MAG grip bars on the reverse grip pulldowns and seated rows. Man that fried my grip. Like it, as I can see if building up my grip strength.

Missed yesterday’s workout, so made up by going in today. Felt good. Since it was leg day, thought I’d ramp up the intensity. As Ronnie Coleman would say, “light weight”. Should be feeling it tomorrow.

Hit legs today as well, not exactly light, but not what I did 10 years ago either. :r

Yea, I don’t think I’ll get to the weights I was lifting before. I think the most I did on leg press was 800 for reps. If I had my trainer, I bet I could’ve done more. Today I only did 260, but sets of 18-18-18-17. Probably could’ve squeezed out one or two more reps, but then I’d still be stuck in the machine.

Chest and shoulders again, lower weight, higher volume. Got a good pump.

Keep 'er going, Bob. :ze

I'm resting my hip/groin/glute/thigh today. Only one hurts at a time, seems to rotate. Getting old ain't for sissies.

Good back and arm workout today. Again still focusing on volume. I figure I’ll do this for another week, then switch to heavier weights and less reps.

How’s the hip/thigh/groin/glute feeling Tom?

Hip is going to be an issue going forward, Bob, at some point I'm going need a replacement. Hoping that time doesn't come too soon.

Glad you're back at it. I'm taking the inspiration and heading in on a Sunday. :D

I think you could totally rock the cane and long fur coat! :banger

Not much here, just trying to keep the jiggly a little jiggly. I need the shirt that says, I work out but I don’t turn down cookies either. Or something like that.

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled programming. Push day. Again, volume. Got a nice pump. Working on trying to grow my shoulders. Damn I need work on the outer head of the shoulder. Doing cable side lateral raises, and couldn’t use much weight. But I don’t care, gotta start somewhere.
