I thought the Drew Estate MUWAT Baitfish I had was the same way. Like a kick in the teeth, and very harsh throughout.

A few folks here including me really love A.J. Fernandez's stuff. There's a general consensus that resting his cigars for at least a few months helps smooth them out a bit.

These have been hit or miss for me lately. I'll have one and find it very meh. Then I'll have one two weeks later and it'll be tasty as can be.

La Perla Habana Black Pearl Morado Robusto
Ortega Serie 'D' Maduro #7. This was a bit on the harsh side; first one of them I've had that wasn't smooth as can be.

Cain habano robusto with some age on it -- excellent down to the nub. Then a trusty JdN Antano Dark Corojo El Martillo was wonderful.
All while watching Luis Tiant smoke cigars in nearly every scene of the lyrical documentary "Lost Son of Havana." Watched it on the Crackle app on my iPad Air. Yinz should watch it if ya like baseball or cigars.

"Fra Gee Lay" is the phonetic pronunciation of the way some folks pronounce Yes's 'Fragile' album.

Actually, I think he's making a reference to the scene in A Christmas Story when the Old Man gets the leg lamp. It says fragile on the box, and he says "Fra gee lay, must be Italian."

Ahh yes...been about eight years since I've seen "A Christmas Story".
