I had to do it! I put on my big boy underwear today....went to Rich's cigars in Portland oregon....and mustered up the words....."uh you have any opusX?"...schazamm...."just the small one please"....."and a Hoyo De Monterrey sale special too"....bye now....

My advice? See if you can figure out when it was rolled. That will make all the difference in the world.

IMO (and it may not be worth much :)), the older the better for these.

My guess on the Opus is that it's this christmas holiday release. The Opus by me usually last a month or 2 after they are released

+1 I think this goes for Anejos as well, I bought a few sharks from the current release and those definitely need some down time. In my experience at least a year of rest really helps these mellow out a bit and allows a lot more flavor to come through, YMMV though :tu

I agree, I like the Anejo's from 1-2 years, and Opus with 3+ years. Everyone will be different though.
