Had another tasting tonight with some friends. Imperial Stouts was the theme, but some porters made it in as well.

2009 Abyss
2009 Jolly Pumpkin Dark Dawn Stout
Some Irish Stout I can't remember
2010 Night Tripper
2011 Plead The Fifth
2011 Karl Strauss Parrot In A Palm Tree
2010 Black Xantus
2011 Belgo Anise RIS from Stone
2010 Chocolate Yeti
2011 Dark Lord
2010 Founders Breakfast Stout
2011 Founders Breakfast Stout
2011 Founders Imperial Stout
2011 Founders KBS
Also, a couple homebrews didn't make the picture.

Tonights winners, IMO, Black Xantus, Dark Lord, and KBS. Overall, I enjoyed every beer.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

Monday beer night at Coffee District

Dogfish Head Festina Peche (tap)
Cantillon Blåbær Lambik (2010)
Oppigårds Drakens DIPA
AleSmith YuleSmith Holiday Ale-Summer
Heavy Seas Davy Jones Lager
Bruery Provisons Series Run B.M.C.
Jolly Pumpkin Luciernaga-The Firefly
New Glarus Raspberry Tart
Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged BORIS Royale
2008 Schlafly Reserve Barleywine Style Ale Aged On Oak
Cigar City Brewing Mystery Bottle (this was a bottle with out a label brought by one of the Cigar City reps. Many differences of opinion on what this could have been. But all agreed it was really good!)
Mad River John Barleycorn
Charleville Box of Chocolate Quad
East End Monkey’s Uncle
Great Divide Belgian Style Yeti Imperial Stout

Beers that were left in the cooler that we never made it to. Lost Abbey Serpent's Stout, Jester King Black Metal, Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence.

Overall another great night with some amazing beers.
The New Glarus and Cantillon were sooo good, and I really enjoyed the Schlafly and Boris. Eager to find out which CCB beer we drank too.

It's OK, it'll make it that much better when (if:rolleyes:) I get to try it. :tu

Hard to complain though, even missing the Hunahpu barrel release, life goes on and there will plenty others to get/try.

Speaking of which, did you try either of those CCB's we got from Matt yet?
