Headed home this weekend. Coming back with some workout clothes. Hotel gym, so nothing major as far as weights. But then I haven’t lifted pretty much anything in months so who knows what I’ll be able to handle. IDC, just as long as I can lift again.

First workout with the trainer. She really kicked my ass and all the Covid steps she has to take make the routine a bit of a joke. Consolidating which machines and dumbbells to keep the cleaning down to a minimum. Tough to be a trainer during Covid.
Been biking about 100 miles a week, but the step up's with 15 lb a hand really hit some leg areas untouched by biking. Hurting two days later! Never mind the chest. Going with her once a week and hope to get one workout a week on my own. |

Hadn't done a volume day for back lately. Kept reps above 18 a set and minimal rest.

2nd workout with trainer. Not as hurting after as the first! Sucks going to the gym with masks and mandates.

My gyms are only requiring masks upon entry and exit. But there's lots of distancing. Glad your trainer experience is going well, Moses.

The wait is over! Gyms open in Michigan on the 9th.
Used the hotel gyms here. Went light, lots of reps (probably a bad idea after the long my hiatus). Dumbbells for everything. Flat bench x3 Incline bench x3 30% incline x3 Seated at overhead press x2 Felt my shoulders not liking all the sudden work. So ended it there. |
