Are the padron's really worth the price tag?

That all depends on you. I love them, and when I have the disposable income that I can justify picking up a few, I do. Padron '64s are a great smoke, one of my favorites. Of course, your opinion might not be the same.

But, is it worth the price tag? My wife would say, "no."

Just to show you opinion, I'd say that the Opus line is not worth the price they ask for them. Of course again, that is all a matter of opinion.

I also love the Litto Gomez line, but others might say that they are not worth the price of admission.

I know you are thinking I probably avoided your question, that was not my intention. I was simply trying to show that opinions about cigars can vary quite a bit.

If you have the coin to try one, pic one up and give it a whirl.

Of course, if you are happy with the cigars you are smoking, you might just be opening a can of worms which should stay closed. :D

Peace of the Lord be with you.

Todd

Thanks for the input Rev. Since I am fairly content with what I am smoking right now and don't have a lot of disposable income I think I will just stay blissfully ignorant.

And with thy spirit.

Agreed. The only thing worse than dropping $25.00 on a stick and not liking it is dropping $25 on a stick and liking it. :tu

The 64s are not $25 a stick, but... I love the sentiment. Nothing worse than finding a stick you really like which costs more than you are comfortable spending.

Todd, seems my luck is...nothing is worse than finding a stick you really like and then finding out it's been discontinued, years ago. :D

Like the Rev said, It all depends on you. I love the '64's and only smoke them every so often. I (obviously :D) think they are worth the price tag.

Yeah, that does suck. I still stand by mine. When you fall in love with discontinued, you cannot do anything, when you fall in love with lust (an uncontrollable desire), which may lead to either a bad case of the stupids (where you buy stuff you cannot afford) or you pull your hair out of your head.
