Went to the Chicago Wolves game on Sunday to see Chelios play. Looks like he is still able to keep up pretty well. Even got a little rough at times, as I'm sure hes a target for all those young guys.

As long as it's the Hawks and not the Wings in the SCF, I can live with the "curse". :r

:hm interesting. I hope there will be a Wings/Hawks rematch. I can't give the Hawks any love until they take down the defending Western conf champs, with Hossa or w/o him.

Train wreck tonight.
Hawks with 3 goals both shortys. Sharks need to stay off the powerplay.

Time to go smoke a cigar.

I'll admit, I wasn't so sure about the Hossa signing. But tonight started to change my mind a bit. The Hawks look scary good now. Hopefully they can keep it up.

And they went to the Finals.....more than can be said for the Hawks, at least the Wings got to the Big Show.

More than I can say for the Sharks too, Mike. I will take Hossa and a shot at the Finals over getting knocked out in the Quarterfinals. ;)

Yeah that would be nice. I dont expect anything from the Sharks in the Post Season. Makes my life a lot easier.

My son and I went to the Bruins/Devils game today and even though the B's lost it was a great game. One big reason we went is because Langenbrunner is from my hometown and I played hockey with his little brother my whole life growing up so he put in a few good words and hooked us up with some player passes after the game. Long story short, we got to meet some players and my son walked out with a game stick, 2 jerseys (my sons personal jerseys), and a couple pictures all autographed by Langenbrunner. The second picture my son is wearing the jersey that the hometown high school team wears (Cloquet Lumberjacks, the team we both played for in high school).

Thats awesome! Langenbrunner is a stand up guy. That shootout was prety good. I figured we were goin to loose at the last second in the 3rd or in the shootout
