Went with McConnell's Scottish Cake again this morning in my Mastro de Paja, had some Boswell's Dan's Blend in my Boswell pipe, and I'll probably have some Autumn Evening tonight in my meer, but that could always change...

Squadron Leader. Always seem to put my pipes away in the summer and start up again in the fall. Working my way through a bunch of blends RH Newfie bombed me with and about ready to dive into a tin of Dunhill London Mixture another brother hit me with recently :)

Some GLP Robusto this morning with a cup of Trader Joe' House blend coffee. Wow! What a very nice blend of tobacco this one is. The aroma simply captivated my nostrils this morning:D

Half a bowl of McConnell's Scottish Cake in my Mastro de Paja, still breaking it in.

Followed that up with a bowl of Dan's Blend in my Boswell. Always good.

After a bit of a break this morning, later had the GLP Charing Cross. Love the fullness and nose of both the Charing Cross and Robusto...:tu

Re: Whats in your bowl?

Placed a couple of disc of 'Escudo' in the Boswell Billiard this morning. Really enjoyed this smoke. Believe it or not, the aroma and smoke kind of reminded me at time' of the original Taboo SFO Robusto blend before that blend was downsized by Taboo.

:hmMaybe I'll have to mix a disc of Escudo with an equal portion of the GLP Robusto for a little experiment:)

A small question: I noticed a small "gurgling" sound emitting from the bowl from time to time. Moisture from the tobacco?
