yeah that was a bad hit I think your right, reminded me of something Cooke would do. Just hope Smith doesn't develop a Crosby like situation.

Mike this was like 7 years ago. Image still burned in my mind. Yeah just needed ruffles on his white shirt.

lol
watched the Sharks Camarys last night. Lafloppier did his usual dive got the call. Boyle went to stand him up as he entered the zone. His elbow got near his face. You would have thought the guy got jumped by 3 guys the way he went down then laid there. Boyle started poking him with his stick as he laid on the ice. Feigned injury on the ice. Seconds later laughing it up on bench. Hate that team hate that floppier. Lot of fights in that game. Lot of bad blood. The announcers blew sweaty dog.

Thought that Jason LaBarbera's mask was pretty bad ass, particularly for someone who is Canadian honoring an American hero :tu

Jimmy Howards new mask honoring those he knew from the Russian plane crash is a pretty awesome tribute as well. :tu

It brought tears when Ace Bailey's son was there to represent him plus seeing Orr and Milt Schmitt at 92 years young. I hope to see the ceremony at least once more in my lifetime.

I hope to see it again as well.
And, of all the championships the Bostons teams have won in the last decade,
the Stanley cup was the best.

Not hard to do. ;) :r

Hawks evened it up at 1-1, Bolland makes a big difference for the Hawks, just as he did against Vancouver. Thank goodness they didn't look as offensively challenged as they did last night.

O'Donnell and Montador are gonna be rough to stomach, I see a lot of 3rd periods using 4 d-men for the Hawks. ;)

Battle of the last two Stanley Cup Champs next Saturday.

Obviously not truly a "big game" for either team, but fun nonetheless.

Avs in Boston right now...…. I'm stuck at work.....I didn't even know it was a day game...

Let’s hope they can find the back of the net to give Varlamov, who I thought played awesome Saturday, some help. It was a rough weekend for me and sports, turn it around for me!

GO AVS!

B's played like crap,no compete, and slow, the top line has looked like crap all three games.
Time to put the cup behind them, they should have taken two points today.
Varlamov played a great game.

Welcome to the hangover. Just when you think they've broken out of it, it'll rear its head to bite you again. Sorry, I have no ill will for the Bruins, it's just inevitible. It's human nature.

Flyers have started the season 3-0. I'm happy to see some chemistry with so many new guys. Some of their young guys are playing some important PK minutes...Couturier, their first round pick this year, being the most surprising to me.

After bringing home an NBA finals trophy, and maybe a WS trophy in a month, and (God willing) a sixth Lombardi, then it's time for #2:

I think everyone knows the foot was in the crease.

I will bet a 10 pack of cigars the stars don't sniff the cup finals this year. :r

Giving mu betting history here I may have just given them the cup. :r

The officials didn't see it, it didn't happen. :)

His foot was in the crease. I was amazed they didn't call it.

Honestly, I will be amazed if they make it to the playoffs. I'll be amazed if they stay near the top of their division.

I didn't think they would I guess that would explain what happened. So happy to be wrong on that. Been going to Giants games since I was 5. Dad would pull me out of school and we would go to day games. Will be continuing the tradition with my four kids. Its such an awesome thing to do.

For you Bruins fans, bunch of $5 cup tshirts. If any of you slobs still play a few decent deals on gear. Want to grab a new pair of Grafs, can't afford though.
