Go Jets!!! :banger
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Wow, Sanchez for 18 yards so far... We sure look like a SuperBowl team, that's for sure...
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Wow, Sanchez is up to 47 yards now with almost a quarter still to go. Amazing...
If Ryan tomorrow still says we are SB bound I will hurl, big time... |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
What the hell?!
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Keller needs to be more aware of where the first down marker is.....WTF????
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Super Bowl! We're going to Super Bowl!!!
Sanchez for 74, wow, what a performance... With all the BS during the summer about Revis we forgot about one spot we're dead last in the league, QB. Just how much money wasted on new signings? Bring in a professional. Is Pennington available? |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I put the offensive performance on shotty's play calling. WTF!!! You can't get much more than 74 yds if they don't let you pass the ball! Sanchez was checking down way too much but COME ON! You are gonna run LT up the middle and throw screens to Greene! THAT WAS BAD!!!!
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Offense was a shitshow. All around.

Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Mark, I don't hate Sanchez, I really dislike Ryan putting so much faith in the guy. Not Sanchez's fault he doesn't have the goods and not his fault someone was stupid enough to hire him. I will agree with you that Shottenheimer is not the best offensive mind there is, his entire career is spotty, but I also understand that his calls are dictated by what he has been given.
Jets royally screwed up this year, first by giving in to Revis and thus affecting every other team and player for years to come and second by blindly convincing themselves they have a QB. I'll take anyone at this point. If you recall my prior posts during pre-season you'll see that even back then I knew Sanchez is crap, he was crap all year long last season and I see no signs of improvement at all. Bring Pennington back and THEN we're a Super Bowl team overnight, Pennington is a born leader with quick mind (and somewhat limited arm to be fair). |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I know how you Jets fans feel ;)
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I am upset with the Jets. All I wanted the New Jersey Jets to do was beat Baltimore to help the Bengals out in the AFC North.
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I feel your pain, Jets fans.
|
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
J-E-T-S offense, S-U-C-K-E-D last night!! Defense looked damn good.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! C'mon, Sanchaz has a long way to go but "noodle arm" wasn't taking us anywhere. I love the guy as a person and think he'll make a great coach, but c'mon. Any young QB to be fair needs 3-4 seasons, I'll agree Sanchaz looked bad but he has potential and I'm not gonna throw him away in the start of his season. |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
That "noodle arm" thrived on games like the one last night, quick and short passing. I'll take ACCURATE passing with no interceptions over strong arm incapable of delivery, any day of the week. Who the hell needs great receivers if your QB can't get them the ball? And Brunell ain't the answer, either. We have zip for QBs...
Arghhh.... |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
So, with 176 yards total offense, and 125 yards in penalties, seems to me they were lucky to score 9 points . . . and even luckier to lose by only one.
I guess I could walk up the road and see how their practice is going today, but I'm afraid I might get harrassed by inappropriate comments. :D |

As for Jets' offense last night, you already know I am in agreement with you. You can blame receivers all you want, but the fact is if I am a receiver who hasn't seen the sight of the ball all game long why would I even hope to see Sanchez all of a sudden make a throw? Belief starts with the QB and if its not there, then the team's mental state is affected.Big time. Dump both Sanchez (bench) and Schottenheimer (fired), I can't see how we'll do worse than we did last night. Although Brunell is not the solution, either. |

Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Was going to post a L! O! S! E! LOSE! LOSE! LOSE! thread last night as the game ended... but then remembered that I am a Browns fan. :)
Sorry for your pain. Season is long. Just hope Sanches passes become so as well. |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
At this time in the season Coach Ryan's mouth is writing checks that his team can't cash. Hope that it gets better for you guys after next week. As far as that female reporter, I would have that teams would have learned their lesson after the Zeke Mowatt/Lisa Olsen incident in 1980 involving the Patriots.

She is into being provocative. That is her niche in the business. It is all about showing her chest and body at all times. If you tease a lion in a cage and you are in there with it, you are going to get hurt. Her going into a men's locker room, dressed in the fashion she dresses is clearly not appropriate. Again, not justifying what was done if anything was done, just saying this is a classic case of teasing the lion by going in the cage with it. Don't now go shooting the lion for acting like a lion should. |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
I've been reading about this issue that's been going on with the reporter (Ines Sainz), and think that this issue goes both ways. I've seen pictures and she is a very attractive woman. I've been in plenty of lockerrooms in my time (albeit not a professional one with reporters coming in to interview), and know the mentality that is prevalent in there. I knew enough "normal" guys who would have had a reaction and done something inappropriate if a reporter such as her would come into the lockerroom (whipping off their towel if she looked at them, catcalls, etc.). I agree with Carlos' teasing the lion example, to an extent. Yes, it's a lockerroom, and she may have been dressed somewhat provocatively (no idea what she was wearing that day), but it is a PROFESSIONAL lockerroom. They should be held to somewhat higher standards and act accordingly. But the reality of it is that if it weren't for professional football, there is a decent percentage of them who would not be doing much with their lives. Given the precedent that Goodell has set in the last couple years regarding behavior of players (and coaches), I imagine that there will be some sort of sanction coming against the Jets. Right or wrong, it's his prerogative as the commish.
For any of you who haven't seen, here's a "typical" outfit she wears while doing her job: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...this-chick.jpg As for the game and complaints about your QB...He's only starting his SECOND year! How many QBs start for a team that makes the playoffs in their first season out of college? The speed of the game is vastly different at the pro level, no matter what school he went to. Reading defenses and uncovering the disguises takes time to learn, and I doubt they allowed him to do any of that at all last year. Your team is a running team, and they let a 1400yd back go from last season, and replaced him with a young, unproven back and a veteran who is nearing the end of a Hall of Fame career. Plus, they played against a very good defense. You have to give the Ravens some credit for what they do on the other side of the ball. Plus, your team's window of opportunity is just opening up, unlike the team I root for (the Vikings). Despite how they played and fared in Monday's game, they are still a team to be feared because of that D. I'd still have them up near the top of the league and as one of the favorites to make it to and possibly win the SB. Remember the Ravens in 2000. Good luck! |

Have no idea why NFL is even up in arms since all of this info is readily available and has already been reported by various news links in USA. They should actually REQUIRE a proper state of attire, they require that of their players and owners, don't they? Can someone please let me know if male sports reporters, fully and properly dressed of course, are allowed in female sports lockers/showers when players are still naked? I lost all respect for Johnson when he didn't tell NFL to go stick it deep and with force (and no vaseline) and apologized to all instead. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER DO THIS BS IN SAUDI ARABIA OR DUBAI. I'd pay money to see that, for sure. How much anyone wants to bet that all of a sudden she'd find common sense not to do this BS there. Actually, wouldn't even be caught wearing that "I worked my Plaza Hotel client into the morning and had no time to change" dress while on sidelines? And I am asking just why we're stuck with Sanchez and Schottenheimer this season and probably beyond? It starts at the top... Arghhhh..... |

As for her "I felt so threatened" BS, one of players said "bonita senorita"... Seriously offensive... She later said that no one really made her feel threatened (no doubt because she knows there were plenty of cameras around and her claims would not be backed up), indicating this was all for her 15 minutes of fame... In the picture you see in this thread she is way overdressed compared to what she wore on her trip to Jets locker room... |

She was in an interview recently where they showed clips of her prepping for the camera and she kept adjusting her bust by pushing it out and making it more visible, in your face. I agree that these guys should have remained professional at all times and shame on them if they fell hook line and sinker. However, she knew where she would be. She should have dressed professionally. In all fairness to both sides, I think the problem here really lies not with the players or her so much as it lies with her employer. There is an inordinate amount of demand in the Spanish networks lately for string thin thongs and barely covered busts. At the end of the day, she was just complying with the demand for how she should dress for her job to keep her audience focused on her, and not so much on what she may have to say.:r All that said, man is she hot!!! |
Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
Google Ines Sainz and check some of her "professional" interview photos for a frontal view.

Re: J! E! T! S! Jets! Jets! Jets!
To be fair to this woman, she has seemed to (of late, at least) have taken this all as a non-issue . . . perhaps because she got the PR bump she wanted, and now wishes to milk it more with her "professionalism". She says she's sorry that she's become the center of a controvery, and that this was not her intent. She wants to do her job without being a distraction.
Well, as some of you may know, the Jets new multi-zillion dollar facility is a mere rifleshot from my door, so if she does not want to distract the players she can stroll down my way and distract me for a while. I promise to hold my tongue . . . amongst other appendages. ;) |

special above the neck, and certainly not much REAL from the hips up. She is kind of a hatchet face to be truthful. It's ALL body with her. And you can bet there is going to be something serious that comes down from on high about this because someone said something and it became a story. The NFL is too high profile to say "she should have known better." But those are the actual facts. One thing I know for sure, she will not get another NFL credential. They will certainly help her in that regard. I just thought of something else...I would LOVE to hear Elizabeth Hasselbeck's opinion on this...for the first time in history. |
