Anyone want Romo? I'll even trade him for someone on IR. At least the person on IR would give me zero points. Romo is going negative.

I had a question about trades in general in this league: if I trade with someone, when can I activate that player? For this week's game, or do I have to wait until next week?

Depends on the day of the week. When you do the trade, it should tell you the changes will be reflected in your "X" week lineup.

Off the top of my head, I can;t remember the trade waiting period.

If you trade today, I'm not sure. If you wait till Thursday, you definitely have to wait until next week.

Re: You can never have too much Fantasy Football

The wait time is two days for trade and I think the roster cutoff is sometime on Saturday. So you would need to complete the trade by Thursday to take advantage of the player on this weeks roster.

I think.

Forgot about my team this week. I've got two on the roster who have a bye.:( Also didn't take Roy Williams off my active list.

My team let me down! Might lose in both leagues. FML

I was wondering what happened  Would have been a very close contest between us this week, especially with Roddy White posting 34+ points--ouch!

He's sucked @$$ as of late, but if anybody's interested, I just got rid of Roy Williams. Maybe a dumb thing to do, but I'm taking that chance. Won't hurt me this week b/c he's on a bye anyways.

Starscream 10-16-2009 04:52 PM

Re: You can never have too much Fantasy Football

Either I clicked on the wrong person, or Williams won't be off of my list until next week. If you're interested in this douchebag, let me know.

I don't think he dropped. I only see 3 transactions for you in the last few days, and he ain't one of them. When looking at your roster, near the top it says Roster week "X". Click on "7" and if he is there, the you didn;t get him dropped.

I just noticed that as well. I think I clicked someone else by mistake. I'm trying to figure out who I got rid of now.

If anybody wants to trade for him let me know, as he's still on my roster.

Look at the transaction on the league standings page. You can view all. Hope that helps:tu

I have Brady and Moss on same team in one league. Needless to say, I am cleaning up int that one.

Two weeks in a row where the QB contributes negative points. Two weeks in a row with a loss. A coincidence? I think not. :(

I unloaded Sanchez, thankfully. This week's QB haul for my team:

Hasselbeck -7.66 (started in my team)
Garrard 1.25
Romo 0.00 (bye)

Killer lineup, eh? :)

Lowest points scorer for the season, but it looks like I had the high score for the week. Thanks, Tom Brady!:D

Going to the Thursday Miami/Panthers game on the 19th. Hope we can pull one out and win at home.

Very nice. Would love to get to a game. Last one I went to was Packers/Lions on Thanksgiving a couple of years back. Friend of mine is friends with one of the former coaches and we got the nice treatment.

Course, I had to root for the Lions.

I lost D. Bowe though. My receivers are pretty weak. I'm going to need a good showing to have a shot.

Looking good today so far. If only the Panthers did as well. Williams and defense can't win the games by themselves.

Just want to let you guys know, I maybe awol for two months as I help my Mom recover from some surgery she is having done. I will not have easy access to internet (at least not at this point) but will make every effort to get on after the season to make sure winnings are taken care of.

You've got to find some way to access the internet at least once a week, Sean. You're in second place, plus the the Admiral's banter thread won't be the same w/o you. Thoughts and prayers sent on your mother's recovery, Sean.

Hit up the local library or university for some internet access if you can't find a way nearby.

I should have gone with Jonathan Stewart today. Williams is out and Moore isn't passing much today.
