Hey, I'm sorry- That ball was still in the air and was heading to Wes Welker. IMHO that hit was legitimate! I disagree with the refs on that one.

Welker is a great player (I have always liked him even when Miami foolishly got rid of him), and I have seen him take some harder hits than that. I was really surprised he didn't come back out on the field.:hm

Yeah, TO is back to his old tricks. He was probably crying that they should have thrown to him more. He's a great player, but I'm not sure if he's worth all the baggage that comes with him.

With no offense to speak of, I'm scared to death what's gonna happen to my boys the rest of the season. It's gonna be a hell of a grind.
I'd like to shake the hand of every one of the Steelers just for going out and playing 60 minutes of ball every time they hit the field.
If they don't score another point the rest of the season, they're still #1 in my book.
I couldn't be more happy with how Mike Tomlin has cleaned up the cocky disrespectful unsportsmanlike bullshit this year, too. Add that to the work ethic and team play they've shown this year and I can't think of another team I admire more.
They just keep getting better, too. I'm just flat all-around impressed with the entire organization, far more than any time in the last 20 years.

I learned a rule today, too.
I thought the ball had to break the plane, period. I didn't know your feet could be in and the ball out of the endzone and it still be a touchdown.
I like it, though. :D

I don't think it was a touchdown. Sure, his feet were in the endzone, but the ball wasn't. It was not consusive enough in my opinion to overturn it.

The D is giving up 13 points a game this year, that's up from what's usually about 11. I was surprised when I saw that.
11-3 with the toughest schedule in the nfl ain't too bad. :tu

I truly feel that the Tennessee players who 'stepped on' the terrible towel at the end of the game were LOW CLASS

Its hard to win when you turn over the ball 4 times and miss field goals. As far as stepping on the Terrible Towel at the end:fl...... lot of football to be played, and if we meet the Titans again, they will regret it. :gl

The Titans will regret this. When the Steelers get personal, it gets ugly! I guarantee they didn't see any of that stuff during the game, but as soon as they do they will have their targets. Titans beware, the next engagement there will be blood...:fl
