Everything is high there, Scott, especially the rare Opus vitolas. But I go there for the mojitos and the atmosphere when there....When in Vegas, you pay to play and know that going in. :)

Been to Casa Fuente several times, will always stop by when we're in Vegas. No, it's not cheap...welcome to Vegas....;) Fuente HTF's you can't find most places, fantastic Mojito's, solid single malt and bourbon selection, great staff. Last time, I sat at the bar and sampled the single malt's while smoking a Casa Fuente lancero. A good time, to be sure.

Yeah I was there this last summer and I agree....it was way over priced and I personally think the Casa Fuente Stick is nothing special....I would much rather smoke a short story or a best seller.

One of the few places you can smoke a cigar and have no one look at you in disgust. I love Casa Fuente. I order a drink, smoke my own cigars and no one bothers me. The waitresses are friendly and they have a TV setup to watch games.

Have you tried smoking a cigar in a sports book recently. You even get looks in the casinos these days.

I know the drinks are not cheap, but considering a Corona will cost you $7 at a club. $12 for a good sized and strong drink works for me.

The way I see it, I usually save money at Casa Fuente. Two hours of smoking means no money lost at the tables. :r

Well, yeah....but do they let you shoot at things? ;)

I'd probably spend the extra 15 bucks and get the $50 Anejo. I'd just consider the 35 bucks as admission.

Negatory.

Everything NOT Casa Fuente is huge mark up. The Casa Fuente's themselves average between $17-23 depending on vitola. I always make it a point to go there for scotch and cigars. This is bc I love the experience and the Casa Fuente lancero is my absolute favorite NC. Honestly for the experience and ~$20 a stick I don't mind it at all. When I don't want to smoke a Casa Fuente or pay a huge chunk, Pheasant Run is the place to go.

Hope that helps if you ever make it to the desert Scott!

While I agree that it can be pricey for cigars at Casa Fuente, you have to try to put it in perspective.

How often do you get to go to Vegas and hang out in an iconic place like Casa Fuente?

Really though...if you're in Las Vegas and if 35 bucks is gonna break you, maybe Vegas wasnt a good destination choice to begin with. It's not like you're gonna buy 3 to smoke there & 6 more to take home with you.

Like others have said, its a small price to pay for the experience.

Going to Vegas is a "treat"; CF is just a part of that treat.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion. I go to Vegas all the time, and the experience wasn't that great.

I can think of half a dozen nicer cigar places I'd rather hang out.

Prime, Boca Raton FL
Smoke Inn, Margate FL
Burn, Naples FL
Smoke on The Water, Weston FL
Casa de Montecristo, Chicago IL
Cigar King, Skokie IL

It is a matter of opinion, that's 100% true.

Personally, my first time at Casa Fuentes was awesome, not really because of just where I was at, but rather the "whole" experience which was being there with a whole gang of friends living it up and having a blast. For me a location itself is not as important as the the friends I'm there with. Hell, I have the fondest memories when friends & I were in just in a plain ol garage or on some ordinary patio.:tu

True that! I have more awesome memories at Darrell's garage watching movies drinking Sierra Nevada than I do at any number of high price lounges

In January, I'll take any place in Vegas over Chicago. ;)

Now there's something we can agree on. I grew up on Lawrence & Pulaski. My dad said it was 8 yesterday, I said, "8 what" :)

I see what you mean about the architecture. Very well presented in its form. The way its outlined and then proportionally situated side by side is perfect.

Rhumbar is imo the best place on the strip to have a cigar. The selection is smallish, but the atmosphere blows Casa Fuente away.
