While I'm not going to the darkside. I will continue to torch those lovely dark & yummy maduros. I am really a huge fan of Viaje and their sticks, I have just finally said enough is enough with all the limited edition, small batch hunting. Too many great sticks out there at a great price to play the "Hunt the LE game". :2

See, I amstarting to get a little collection of cc's. But most if not all of my nc's are full flavored maddies. Haven't found anything in the cc world that compares to them. I can live without most of the non maduro nc's though. Not saying I won't smoke them, but I'm not buying boxes of them either.

Tatuaje = MASS LE releases
Viaje LATELY = tons of smaller huge RG cigars for too high or a price.

Either way you lose they win. Gotta get off that NC boat and over to the darkside!

I live in Japan, 15 miles from Tokyo.....I can jump on the train to the local Le Connaisseur and smoke Davidoffs and Behike's any time I want :sh I love the darkside, but I think the quality of NC sticks has taken tremendous strides in recent years! What's the impetus behind absolutes, and picking one type of cigar to enjoy exclusively? Variety is the spice of life, and in regards to fine cigars, this holds true IMO.

Or, whatever happened to "smoke what you like?" If you don't want these, you don't have to buy them. If you have any actual content to contribute to this discussion, I'd like to read it. Otherwise, several posts of complaints is rather boorish IMO.

:tu agreed.

And keeping ever so loosely with the theme of this thread (or perhaps it relates in more than just name) I give you a video that's stuck "in [my] head." You can skip the ads in like 4 seconds.

Just found out a good buddy is coming to visit this weekend. That means no event for me. :( But on the good side, I get to spend time with a great friend. :)

Dude, you can take him by the shop "on the way" to somewhere else...

"I just need to stop by here for a second"... :)

The thought did cross my mind. The shop is 200 miles away from me, and I can't think of that being "on the way" to anywhere. Except maybe Chicago.

I did ask Mike (wanger) to pick some up for me if he has a chance to, mainly because I have tried a few viaje so far and liked them a lot and can't get them on this side of the pond. Normally I do go for larger sizes, but this stick sounds interresting to me. (also the price isnt too bad if you look at the prices they charge for most sticks over here)

hell, price isn't too bad for minnesota. So you all know there is a 70% of wholesale tax here so this is pretty good as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a huge Viaje fan, but these latest release have really been so so for me. If I come across the Zombie for a good price without jumping through hoops, I'll try them, but I'm not going on a Indiana Jones type quest for them.

I hear you as I feel there have been more releases from Andre lately that were still green than not. Hopefully letting them nap improves upon them although the latest S&B release was right up my alley.
