A little bit of memory and like Tom, I enjoy a good surprise!

I organize by size, vitola rather than brand. I also keep CCs in a different humidor from NCs because they tend to fight.

Is this a joke??

If not...hook me up!

If it is...not funny! :sl

Stogie Rate has a nice cigar inventory spreadsheet. I just log in my cigars that I receive and put them away. So far, I know the location of any cigar in my stash, I think! Also, it is a pain to deduct the sticks you smoke...not that anal!

So Far it sounds like the Majority is

1. Memory - Random Picks
2. Excel spreadsheet
3. Mobile Apps
4. RFID

Im going ahead forward with www.mycigarlocker.com If it pans out great.. if not.. It was fun creating it. Hopefully I have something that works in the next week or so.

I use cigar briefcase. It is a bit cumbersome to use in that most of the cigars are not in the database but it works ok when I use it. More often than not I just look thru the humi and the cooler to pick a stick. One of these days I will get organized!

Dude that is awesome! Are you really doing that? I just had this thought the other day and wondered how I would achieve that. Do you manually type in each box, and do you keep track of them by stick? I wondered if this would be a good project for the arduino.

I try to look at them every day. What I do after that is my own business.

Creating the initial database is easy, but updating can be a pain. Especially when you start moving boxes from one cooler or vino to another or you get a few packages in on the same day and smoke a few as well. Easier to just sit back and smoke and be surprised.

This is very true... Updating all the time can suck.... -(P

Humidor Organization for me...

I've got a mini-cabinet that has two drawers and then a bottom compartment for boxes. The top two drawers each have 4 dividers.

Top drawer is for my nicest and more full bodied stuff - of the 4 compartments, 1 is for aging, 1 is stuff I need to review for the blog, and two are for when I want one of my nicer smokes. This is where I keep Tats, Illusiones, Padron, etc.

Bottom drawer is entirely mild-low medium smokes, since this is what I primarily smoke. I'm only using 3 or the 4 compartments and they are organized by price. If I want a mild smoke, I go to this drawer...then I decide how nice of a cigar I want. If I'm walking the dog I'll go to the cheapest bin, etc...

Once it's organized once it's easy...

Still Working on this..

It will be at www.mycigarlocker.com once im done. And if my business meeting with mpd340 today over a cigar pans out we maybe in the cigar selling business lol We'll see.

But Im for sure working on a virtual type humidor. That will work seamlessly with an android app when im done.
