Re: The 5 stick problem
I took a quick look to see if there was commonality between the choices.
Over 3 picks: Party short Siglo VI Monte Esp #1 There are quite a few UP Cab 46/48/50 Other than these the choices are all across the board. |

Re: The 5 stick problem
I actually deal with this problem every week. I travel Mon - Thu, just about every week all year. I usually fill the 5-ct humi with whatever strikes me as interesting at the time on Monday morning. Sometimes it's the good stuff. Sometimes it's the everyday sticks.
Regardless, they are enjoyable after a long day. |

Re: The 5 stick problem
Well, I just did this "sort of" on a little vacation I took. In the travel humi were....
LADC EE #5 Illusione 88 Don Carlos Double Robusto Opus X Robusto Alec Bradley Tempus TN Think that was it...could be missing something. Had multis of each stick(I was thinking 2-3 sticks a day). Reasoning....it was what I had in the humi.... If I did it again, I would be happy to take the same thing.... |

OK, the problem is your limitations. I go to a pastor's conference for 4 days - will probably be able to smoke 3 cigars - so I bring a dozen. :D |
Re: The 5 stick problem
OK, so I'll play once nicely.
These are all things that I can smoke in the time constraints, as I usually savor my cigars and so they often run longer on burn time than many others. Oliva V Lancero - great anytime, and goes with most foods. Oliva Connecticut Lonsdale - I'm really grooving on these lately, and they fit well with most of the beverages I'd enjoy sans alcohol, and many that I'd enjoy with. Taboo HSG Robusto - Great cigar, anytime. Montecristo #4 - Goes with anything. Cruzado Avalitos - (of course this would mean I'd need to pick up a couple more) |
Re: The 5 stick problem
I would go with:
Kristoff Maduro Partagas Serie D#4 Bolivar Royal Corona Rocky Patel Edge Diesel |
Re: The 5 stick problem
I would take
Two Punch Rare Corojo Rothchilds because they go well in any situation. One Padron 64 Principe natural. One Camacho triple maduro 11/18. Great smoke as well as a conversation piece. One Padilla 68 torp. Why not. |

Re: The 5 stick problem
All i see in this thread is a lot of lying. Like most of us would take less than 20 sticks for a 5 day trip. :r

Re: The 5 stick problem
The real problem here is you took five cigars.
Last year I went to Florida for 7 days. I took 20 cigars. Having the right choice is never an option if you take enough ammunition. But currently I would take: 01 Cohiba Lancero - loving this cigar right now. 01 QdO Corona - Great morning cigar 98 Cohiba Esplendido - Do I have to explain that one lol. 09 Boli Especiale #2 - Another favorite cigar for me lately 1994 - Whenever I go on a trip I always take a special cigar for every 3-4 days, this would be the special one now. |
