Avo is always a great choice, especially the XO line. But if you're watching the pocket book, the an Oliva Connecticut is a great choice.

I have done this with a few friends. The main thing imo, is to know their strength level. A mild cigar will dissapoint someone who smokes a pack a day. And vice versa.

Mild:
Por Larranga Cabinet Selection - every new smoker I have given these to enjoyed them.

Stronger:
Padron X000 series - hard to beat

Strongest:
LFD Triple Ligero - they will remember it
