Just finished an El Mejor Espresso that pretty much fit the description above for me.

:tpd: They're all good, start with the X000 and then the 64 and 26.

:tpd: The Torano '59 has a lot of chocolate flavor. It's one of my favorites. The JJ Maduro, Vegas 'A' and the SP Double Maduro are great every day maddies as well. :tu

I personally enjoy the Oliva Serie O maduro and Padron's are great as well. I have a Oliva G maduro which I have not tried. All are great values as well IMO.

If your looking for a great maduro, try the Cohiba Secretos 5 Maduro... Of but if you mean you wanted to find something from this side of the waters, I dont think you can really find a better robusto than the Padron 2000 Maduro.

I just finished a Kristoff Maduro Torpedo and it was really enjoyable. Smoked one about 11 months ago and it was only so-so but after almost a year's rest it has really come into it own.

[quote=Jimmy Robusto;23768]Looking for suggestions. Which maduro stick would you recommend? I want that rich, chocolaty, slightly sweet taste, earthy and incense-like but not terribly spicy...But not really mild either...

Well as far as I'm concerned the flavors your looking for are definitely in the Padron 1964 series. At the risk of sounding like a rich jerk (which I'm not)...the 1926 80th anniversary was an awesome delivery system of these flavors but good luck finding them and even better luck finding a friend who will treat you to one.
I also think that the CAO maduro will have what you're looking for and it's a little cheaper than the 1964 series. I'm surprised you said the Onyx Reserve didn't give you what you were hoping for.

My two current favorites are the 601 Blue Maduro and the DPG Serie JJ maduro. I love them both. The Perdomo Reserve maddy is good too.
