Mets comeback effort thwarted this time...Padres take us 9-5. Puts us back to .500 at 58-58. With the starting rotation we have...I'd thought we'd be 15 games under .500.

Could be, Chris, but I'm not one of those Yankee fans who think we need to win it all each and every year. I looked for two milestones this season, and I already saw Jeter's 3000th. Now, Mo is 11 saves shy of his 600th.
