A nice little un-banded number that has been resting for a couple of years in the dark recesses of the "special" humi.

Paired with a little scotch for an enjoyable 50* N. Florida winter's evening.

I smoked an Oliva with a dark blue cloth band. I've never had one before and it was pretty good.

One of the new Viaje Exclusivo Toro (Nicaragua) that is differentiated from earlier years by adding blue tobacco leaves to the label. After Andre got "Raciened" as Dion put it, Andre pulled a fast one with PDR and used different tobacco which didn't taste at all like previous blends. Shame on Andre.

Now I have a few trust issues so this cigar came in a sampler pack so I could give it a test ride before buying a box. Assurances were made that this tobacco indeed comes from Casa Fernandez and Tropical Tobacco with even the name bearing assurances it's from Nicaragua and not PDR.

After smoking into this an inch, the tobacco is good and has that distinctive creamy wood, leather, black pepper with some sweet cinnamon. This is definitely a good cigar and ok, I will get a box damn it.

Edit- follow up information. This cigar has no affiliation with Raices but is now Casa Fernandez and AGANORSA which I am a fan boy of so it's no surprise that I like this "new" blend.
