Lucky Bastard was a one-time release, but the other Bastards are either year-round, or they put a new batch out in the fall.

I got 1/4 of your haul there. :r By the time my buddy got there they were running low and only offering one bottle per person. :r He gave it to me and I just had to laugh, bringing in one twelve ounce bottle. Let me know when you drink one, I may cellar mine (even though I only have one) if you think it'll hold up to it. :r Just a funny situation all around, made me laugh quite a bit, almost worth not getting more.

Oh and standing offer, your Pliny and my cigars, name the time and place! I haven't had Pliny in an age. :dr

They posted on their FB page that they held 100 bottles back and put them on sale today @ noon for people who couldn't make it.
I'll be trying one tonight and let you know.

I got a couple Plinys put aside with your name on them. :tu

I hope this isn't the case, but this smells a bit of "build the hype by releasing and incredibly small quantity" so that they run out and people feel like they really 'missed it'. Or "wow, I'm lucky I got the couple I did, next time I'll be there waiting two hours before the event". Only releasing 500 twelve ounce bottles last night, with a four bottle limit, means only 125 people could buy a four pack....which is less than a "normal" six pack you'd typically buy (basically saying that it's not much beer).
