Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Drank an Oskar Blues Ten FIDY last night with dinner. Bought a case in December to drink over the colurse of the year. These have a maximum of probably 4-5 months on them, but damn they're killer at the moment. I'll be reserving no more patience going forward.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Some stand outs from last night:
Victory Old Horizontal Barleywine Bootleggers Rustic Rye IPA should have drank this one first Coronado Idiot IPA and a few SN Big Foots to fully close the door on the evening! |

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
My sister-in-law bought me a set of the sam adams glasses that have the etched ring at the bottom and are specially shaped to minimize heat transfer from your hand and increase your ability to smell the boquet of the beer. They are actually really nice glasses and I naturally had to have a couple boston lagers in them. I don't think the etched ring did anything, but they definitely concentrated the boquet on the nose. I enjoyed drinking out of them.

Had a slew of good micro brews this past week as my 21st finally hit two weeks ago. Most recently I had a Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Fantastic!

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Arcadia Shipwreck Barrel Aged Porter.
This is a damned fine beer.. Inexpensive too! $5.49/12oz. is reasonable compared to some equally good beers. This has got to be in my top three ever porters. I'm going to buy all I can get. You'll see some at Shack! |
