Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430 as always. I see that the National League skunked the American League last night in the MLB All-Star game. I only watched a couple of innings of it and that was enough for me. On another note, we are 30 days from our annual Wounded Warrior event - Quad State Herf 7. If you haven't sent in your payment as of yet, please do so. It will be one less thing to take care of as we get closer to the 11th of August. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a while now. Not much going on today as the Cadets are conducting training both in the Central Area as well as out in the field sites. Today being Thursday, I'll be sure to stop in at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening to smoke a primo stick or two and see how everyone is doing. It was good to see the Yankees win last night in Bombers fashion with a grand slam by Raul Ibanez in the 8th inning. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees acquired Ichiro Suzuki and went ahead and won 4 - 1 over the Mariners (his old team). The fans gave him a standing ovation and approved of the trade and gave him a traditional Japanese farewell. These two teams play again this evening and hopefully they can repeat last night's win. I'm going to head down to Plum Point on the Hudson River in a bit and see if the fellas are down there smoking cigars and enjoying their Sunday morning coffees. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means I'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening getting the final tally done for this Saturday's Quad State Herf. It was good to see the Yankees win last night and hopefully the beat the Tigers again today with the game starting at 1305 (1:05pm). Busy day today running around getting a lot done for the Herf (coordinating the pick up of beer, soda, water, tables & chairs, sound system) and still getting my normal work done here at the Academy.
