I caught the Stone Temple Pilots on 11-5 at the Concho Casino, El Reno, Ok.

They started 2 hours late with no warm up band. But put on a good show.

The Concho Casino is the worst place I've ever been to.

It's a hard tent in a old parking lot, 3000 people with only one pair of 36" entry/exit doors, in a fire people would die.

Looking on Youtube, I found news videos where the tent had blown down during a thunderstorm 10 or 11 months ago.

Your mileage may vary, but I'm not going back to Concho.

Saw Earth Crisis, Otep, Devin Townsend, Cavalera Conspiracy and Mushroomhead a few weeks ago. I was very surprised by Townsend (good) and somewhat let down by Mushroomhead.

I took my girlfriend to see the Zac Brown Band last night. I don't care much for country music, but it was fun and he has some crazy-good musicians in his band.

Although I'm too old for Sunday night concerts. Work is kicking my a$$ today.

Got my hands on passes to Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains, Hatebreed concert last week. Best show ive been to in a while. :banger

Saw Jay-Z and Kanye West in the "Watch the Throne" tour. It was easily one of the best concerts I've seen. They both sounded great. They did a good mix of songs from the album and each did their own songs. There was a part where they went back and forth at each other battling each other with their songs. To close out they sang "Paris" 7 times. They had the whole crowd eating out of the palm of their hands, great show.

Lair of the Minotaur, Goliathon, The Heddons, and Photian Schism last night for a buddies birthday bash. Great show, great bands.


Devin Townsend is down right awesome, I don't care what he's doing. Dude could sing the abc's while taking crap, and I'm sure it would rock.

Last concerts I went to were Paul Simon and Leftover Salmon. Got 4 nights of Phish at Madison Square Garden to end the year though 12/28-12/31!! :banger

A few months ago I saw chevelle, five finger death punch, staind and Korn in concert at the KFMA Fall Ball in Tucson. I was blown away by FFDP!
