A friend gave us a bunch of homegrown heirloom tomatoes. Making tomato sauce from scratch today. Gonna mix in some of my homemade Italian sausage. This afternoon, a loaf of freshly made Italian bread and crack open a bottle of red wine.

My first attempt at home made beef stew. Using a crock pot slow cooker made it really easy.

Saturday morning breakfast...some leftover mashed potatoes, "smashed" on the griddle...cheddar cheese skirt...eggs...potatoes were great...crispy goodness

Did you just get that griddle? I've had mine about 3 weeks and I LOOOOVE it.

I did stir fry and fried rice last night. It was pretty dang good. Gotta figure out how to have the meant n veggies have that wet sauce. Mine ended up unsaucy.

stir-fry is definitely on the list of things to try on the flat-top
