James Thurber is a tremendous comedic writer! I've loved his stories all my life. My dad used to read some of his short stories to us after dinner when we were children! Movie is "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" And what better actor to play Mitty than Danny Kaye!!!!

Yes it is on the credits of house. The production company that produces House (still one of the best shows on TV BTW) is called "Bad Hat Harry Productions." The line and the little cartoon are an homage to Jaws.
