My Norseman came in today!!!
Here are some quick pics. I will try to take some better ones later. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps2e68f12f.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...psf460b4b9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ps4dc8f1a4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...psf06a7322.jpg By far the smoothest flipper I have ever handled! It even rivals the smootheness of a Benchmade with an Axis lock!!! |
Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
Very nice Tony. And a very nice crkt Corey. Both should serve you well.

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
Carried my Boker Nano today, fun little knife but I always miss my Strider or my ZT0550 when I don't carry one.

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
Been toting and using a knife of some kind since Cub Scouts, forty five years or so back. Not to get windy but to me the Spydercos were a watershed moment, so many other companies started and got big in the pocket clip/easy open era.
My other folders have lately taken a back seat to the Zero Tolerance brand, got a pair of them now. Things seem hell for stout. (Oops sorry about the olde tyme slang, that means I think the ZT's are made well.) |
Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
over 3 years ago my wife lost my benchmade infidel. a out the front style knife and I told her that I am replacing it with a microtech. Well the other day I finally did it I purchased a microtech scarab.the craftsmanship is so much better then a benchmade and over all a lot better knife. Only down side was 495 bucks.

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
I carried pocket knives around throughout my childhood but for some reason stopped around high school/college. Decided I needed a compact edc to start carrying again and ran across the Boker Plus Subcom F - so far I love it! It's hefty for it's small size, but overall I barely notice it in my pocket.

No pic but a Benchade Pika II. Razor sharp, holds its edge and very affordable.

The guys based in Michigan, same as myself. Good enough of a reason to support him. I really like his work. How's it feel in your pocket? YouTube videos I've seen are meh.
Did you just get yours? How long of a wait did you have? I've seen on other forums people are waiting something like 4-6 months. |

Re: (Official?) Pocket Knife Discussion Thread
Scored a used and abused older Microtech Ultratech last night for lest than the cost of a cheeseburger. The case and mechanicals are in good shape, the blade needs some love, respect, care and time to become a proper working tool again.
