I wanted apple crips... but had smoked chicken legs with Key Lime jerk rub, butter beans, and marinated cucumbers and onions. Finished up dinner with an '08 Monte 4!! Tasteeee!!!

A really good friend figured out that things have been a bit stressed between me and my wife lately with all of the medical issues and such. He came up to me yesterday after church and told me he and his wife and daughter wanted to take our daughter home (our daughters are friends) with them for the night, that we had reservations at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse at 6:30 and a tab was already open for us. The he said he hoped I wasn't angry with him! No Jim, how could I get upset with a BOTL looking out for me like that? Thanks!

I had the Ribeye and garlic mashed taters, Holly had the Fillet and Shrimp with Creamed Spinach and we finished up with a Creme Brulee for her and I had the Chocolate Cheesecake.

Thanks again my friend, we needed that!

Last night had some grilled prime rib-eyes with grilled asparagus and corn. It was a great dinner.

Not a pretty one but I made white pizza last night topped with mozza, bacony-crispy pepperoni, hot peppers, dried basil, and olive oil.
I had almost the whole pie to myself with a couple of bottles of Black Toad dark ale. The pizza and ale were the bomb! The crispy pepperoni did the trick.

2 slices of pizza, chips and salsa and a couple peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Didn't feel like cooking. I have heartburn for some reason tonight. Maybe I can find something else to eat in there....

mmm I love famous daves, one day at work I ordered the XXL slab of ribs for dinner O_O man that was a lot of ribs. I finished them all and wanted to go to sleep.

2 t-bones, 1 1/2 inch think. Grilled Asparagus. Baby broccoli, stir fried with garlic. I'm stuffed and a little meat drunk right now.
