You're truly a one percenter if you know what this evil bastard is. They were so hated that a society was formed to have them banned. They managed to have them banned in a number of cities, then in a dozen states, then they disbanded as this era just fizzled out. I haven't seen one since I was in eighth grade, 1979.

Ah, what a trip down memory lane. I know them all, and was royally pissed when 8-tracks were replace with cassette; I had a ton of them. But how many of you remember and used 4-tracks? ;-)

Wasn't many titles available in Quadraphonic back in the 70's! At least, not one's I was interested in listening to! So I wasn't spending the extra bucks for the player, or the tapes!!! But they did have great sound!

At 8 years old you could mold a car, fill it with firecrackers, douse it with gasoline, pour a line of gas to act as a wick, singe your hair lighting it, revel over the explosion and burned out mass of bubbling plastic, then go throw lawn darts at your buddies.
