A plus plus fastball and a nice curve and change to boot. Not too shabby young fellow!

He has 5 pitches all with command. That is remarkable.

The kid really should be on a team that can score him runs. If not he will turn into Johan.

Mac, I don't think the Yanks should trade for this Strasburg kid.

Why bother? The Nats can only afford kids and has-beens. As soon as he's eligible for arbitration, they'll just BUY him. :r

Strasburg has now learned why he needs to become a Yankee. He went 6 innings gave up 1 run, had 9K's 0 walks and gets a loss in a 1-0 game. He needs to be on a team that can score him runs and the Nat's are not that team.

And they blew the only chance they had to get a run...in typical Nats fashion. Now for the whole Yankees part...:td :td :td

You should like that. He will be out of the NL East.

The Nat's might not to be able to afford him after his first arbitration hearing. If he keeps pitching like this he will set new records in arbitration.

Yeah, it's just too bad our Yankees have no money, and are unwilling to spend what little they do have. :D

I hope this will be the only year we have this bp cup in Chicago. It means nothing. The whole thing is dumb, and the fact that BP is involved just makes it worse. I hope the powers that be forget about it next year. Just another series.

I hear ya...but the Sox are playing good ball right now. Now for the whole BP thing...:td :td
