Hah, I experienced epic fail. So onto more predictions that may fail.

Patriots over Steelers unless the Steelers can figure out how to get more then a string of field goals. This being said, Steelers kicker for my Fantasy team next year or Mason Crosby which I have had before because he is just that good.

Now the GB vs Falcons I predict to be the game of the weekend. IF you can only watch one game, this is it. I will quote Breacher report to give credit where credit is due, "In terms of what makes for great television, this matchup could knock it out of the park. Both teams had passing offenses ranked in the top 10 in the regular season, but their pass defenses both finished in the bottom five in the NFL.

That has all the makings of a shootout if we've ever seen one. ". (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...nd-predictions)

Will it be another 60 point plus game?

Actual scores in red.

AFC
Wild Card Weekend Steelers 22 - Dolphins 16 30-12 & Texans 24 - Raiders 17 (27 - 14)
Division Round Weekend Steelers 31 - Chiefs 17 18-16 & Patriots 42 - Texans 20 34-16
Conference Championship Steelers 38 - Patriots 34

Got all the winners correct (so far) in that AFC. Actually impressed with that!

NFC
Wild Card Weekend Packers 34 - Giants 31 38-13 & Lions 27 - Seahawks 24 6-26 got it wrong
Division Round Weekend Packers 41 - Falcons 38 & Cowboys 31 - Lions 20
Packers 34 - Cowboys 31 this is a week early, see below Falcons 36 - Seahawks 20
Conference Championship Packers 24 - Cowboys 21 (since that game took place last week, I will say... Packers 41 - Falcons 37

We'll see how that goes.

And at this point, even getting games wrong, is still a possibility.

I'm 7/8,Tood. The Sh1thawks sucked beyond anything I could have imagined.
Their D looked like it was an exhibition game.

I gotta follow my heart with Pittsburgh and Green Bay this week.
Two of the all-time greatest and my two favorite clubs (plus my bandwagon Denver fetish).
I see the Steelers out-gutsing the Pack in the Show, though.
It'd be an incredible matchup.
If it ends up Atlanta and NE, I won't have to worry about watching the game, at least. :D
The Steelers over NE is blind faith. I want to see that game so bad it hurts.
I don't think Tomlin has half the brains of Belichick, but I do think the whole coaching staff can put together a Belichick beater.
We gotta outdistance them in the first half, or Bill will dissect our club into oblivion the second half.
We'll need to bring two games so he can't make the second half adjustments that are the success of the Pats.

Hi Scott, the thing that people keep forgetting about Belichick is that he learned football at his father's knee when he was coaching at Annapolis. As a matter of fact, his father is the ONLY civilian ever to be buried at Annapolis. Bill coaches football like it's war; he's going to have way more games than just two and he can pivot on a dime. Also, why do you think he never says anything at press conferences? Because "Loose lips sink ships." He has lots of different looks for anything he wants to do, not unlike how Eisenhower had Patton "command" a fake army opposite Calais prior to the Normandy invasion to draw off the German Panzer units from the real landing sites. Most football coaches and players are emotionally undisciplined; they get fired-up too easily and that speeds up the game for them. That causes them to react instead of think. Bill plays a thinking game while everybody else plays an emotional game and that's where he gets 'em. On the bright side, I could be wrong; I've been wrong before. :) Good luck, my friend!

Hi Admiral, 20 leading scientists from the most prestigious universities in the country filed an amicus (friend of the Court) brief during the last court date explaining that the Ideal Gas Law perfectly explains the pressure loss as observed. The only thing that deflated those balls were the laws of physics. :)

Thanks Admiral. I remember the bad ol' days when the Patsies couldn't buy a win to save their friggin' lives. That loss to the Bears in '86 crushed me. This current era still seems like a miracle.

Atlanta does scare me. We hardly ever play them, nor are they a team that everyone picks apart year after year like Green Bay.

Darren, my dad reminds me of this every year, how we are spoiled now.
He grew up when the pats were awful, I was 25 when they won their first Superbowl, so this has been a great run to watch!

My son was born in '93 and believes it his birthright that the Pats will contend at a high level every year. I try to tell him that this run is unparalleled in the history of professional football. No one has ever put together something like this over such long period of time: 16 years, 14 playoff appearances, 11 Conference Championship games, 7 Super Bowl appearances and victories in five of them. It's mind boggling.

At some point, the worm will turn and New England fans will look back on this era with awe and longing much as I suspect 49er fans look back on the mid 80's & early 90's. It will be fans like my son who will be ill equipped to deal with it because they don't know the pain. They don't respect the current winning streak because it's all they've ever known.

As a Bills fan living in New England, I will enjoy that immensely.

It's like the Red Sox pink haters, of course the Pats streak is much longer and more impressive, but the Sox going from nothing to a couple of World Series sweeps in a very short time spoiled a lot of younger fans. At least the Sox are usually in the mix these days. I still don't know how the hell we're gonna replace Papi. I mean, I know he's irreplaceable but I was hoping we'd get Encarnacion, at least. We need a Catcher with a stick, too.
