There should be a 60 second time limit

Re: A Game To Check Your "Eye For Things".

I just got a 2.72 in 135.
4th try.
I don't want the cigars but I want to see someone beat this. It doesn't seem that hard to me.

Re: A Game To Check Your "Eye For Things".

3.17 in 147.
After a while it becomes useless to keep trying. The eye quits working right.
Great job, Roger!

shilala 01-08-2014 03:12 PM

Re: A Game To Check Your "Eye For Things".

3.65 with my glasses on. 122.
I think I'd roll a good one if I stuck with it, but I got stuff to do.
Actually I'm going to sit in front of the fireplace cause I'm froze.

Great job, Roger!

The funny thing is, it feels like I'm using The Force. I just relax and stare through the screen, move the cursor around and drop it where it looks right.
The triangle one is not the real center, it's "equidistant". The center bisects all the angles.
I'm an ok woodworker but nothing like the Waxing Moon humidor fella. I'd be embarrassed to even try stuff like that.

Yikes. I think Joel is winning again.
Ya know what happens to me? Lots of times the point is already in exactly the right spot, or very close. Then I insist on moving it, even though I know better.
I'm just gonna have to break the 2 barrier and put this to bed. :D

Did 4.8 in 90.7 the second time

Re: A Game To Check Your "Eye For Things".

I like trying to speed through and still get a good score. I've got a 4.8 in 58 seconds. fastest time was 46 seconds but my score was in the 7s. Just trying to speed through it gets the adrenaline up.

Scott hooked me up with an all-star prize pack, with 5x miraflor churchills and a 5er of various PAM's, including an SI-15 and a 2006 principe. Thanks Scotty! :ss

This game has little to do with woodworking, IMHO.
In woodworking you use squares, angle finders, gauges on the machines, scales, jigs...
Not a mouse and a screen.
