Mostly online. B&M for when I want something now.

Re: Buy online or in store?

No B&M near me so I buy online most of the time.

Re: Buy online or in store?

90% at a B&M, I don't like waiting for something I already paid for. Always good to support them or else they will disappear.

Singles at the B&M and boxes online.

Re: Buy online or in store?

Majority online...every now and then I'll go into a B&M to 'sample' a brand and if I like it; buy the box online.

Re: Buy online or in store?

ALmost exclusively online. 70% tax in MN makes the B&M price very expensive. $11 for a CAO italia robusto? lulz.

Re: Buy online or in store?

i buy almost 100% of my cigars in cigar stores...in havana.

from time to time i will purchase cigars online...maybe once a year...dont really enjoy cigar shopping without being able to open ,look ,handle ,smell ,check box codes etc etc.

Re: Buy online or in store?

Kinda adds to the price per box by factoring a plane ticket and lodging though...

Re: Buy online or in store?

At home I used to buy from the local store because they knew my first name, and my Fathers. Here in Massachusetts I'm just glad to get noticed if I walk in the Store. Their "smoking section" is 60-70 year olds watching '40's war movies... Not my forte. I'll occasionally buy from the local store, but it's Cigars that I can't justify buying boxes of (Like I bought Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne for example.)

I'm with everyone else. I buy most of my sticks online but I'll pick up a few here and there at a local B&M.

Re: Buy online or in store?

Chose for both store and online but would like to clarify why ... I am all for supporting the local tobacconist but I guess you know what I'm going to say when I name the magical word "Canada". The taxes are ridiculous, the price customers pay is phenomenal.

A cigar you pay $5.00 USD for, I pay $15.00 CAD for.
Any guesses what I would pay for an Oliva V Torpedo?
...
$23.00 CAD, I'll leave the math of a depressing box price to you. The choice for box purchases online is made quickly as you may understand.
