Yeah, as I was making it up last night, the fiancé says, "that smells just like apple pie. You're going to be a mess." I used an apple cider made from Honeycrisp apples, second in yumminess only to the Pink Lady.

Re: Mac's Apple Pie Shine

I used to store the cinnamon stick in the jars when I put them in the fridge. Seems to work better if you remove the cinnamon sticks after pouring into jars. Cinnamon residue gets really bad after a month or so and makes the 'shine "cloudy". But then again, it's a personal preference. It is YUMMY either way. :dr :dr :dr :dr :dr

Mix a generous pour of the whipped with your favorite root beer of choice. You can thank me later. :D

I made 10 pints from a half batch last night. I did use a full bottle of 151 Everclear in it. It is a bit strong but yummy! :dr

Re: Mac's Apple Pie Shine

I did the same thing as you Bobby, but mine yielded 9 pints. I figure it's roughly 18-20% alcohol. Since I've drank 4 pints of it. So tasty :dr

Dom in a cow suit would fit nicely!

By the way that cinnamon is perfect in that shine, mac.
Wish you could sell this stuff!
Guess I gotta go to Epic next year!

Who are you? Pete Johnson?
Putting out shine with a new LE label every few months!

I think the same labels as last years Epic will work just fine! :2
Or maybe labels with the image you send with your bombs.
You know the one with the guy in Mets hat that looks nothing like you, is 10 years younger and 60 lbs lighter! :tu :r
