It would be beneath me to post about your post about Tom's post about the non-posts about the post that doesn't exist.

One of those things where the quest for fame and fortune tortured a lot of people. In a way, maybe its better for all this way. All the best to anyone ever impacted by him...in a good way or bad.

He was among only a few with that level of talent in our lifetime.

His music will outlast him be decades.

Its too bad, I must admit to being a fan of his music. The music world lost a hell of an icon and it was way too soon. Rest in Peace Michael Jackson.

RIP.

I actually feel a sense of relief for him. Definitely a troubled soul whether or not the accusations were ever true. I feel sorry for his family and children.

Was he a freak at the end? Yes. Did he engage in some questionabl behavior over the last few years? it seems he did. Was he one of the most talented music artists the world will ever see? Yes!!!! He was an icon the world over and did at least attempt to do good in this world. Growing up when I did, I was listening to him at the height of his career, and have fond memories of the Thriller album and all the songs off it. Now grab your crotch, throw a sequined gloved fist in the air and give a "woohoo" for him.

May he find the peace in death that he never seemd to find in life.

I was in college when Michael Jackson was at the top of his career. His talent and creativity were immense. Yes, he became a freakish caricature of himself, but few will ever reach the height of Michael Jackson's talents. RIP.

Resting peacefully fellas....
That dog is at the top of it's career and needed some time alone on the Appalachian Trail to prevent a fate such as Mr. Jackson's.

R.I.P. MJ.

I am working on a project right across from UCLA medical center where he was taken yesterday and the place was a madhouse. When the ambulance first came rollin down the street with a 3 police car escort we knew something was up. The word spread fast around the job and it was shocking. Once 7 news choppers started circling I figured for the worst.

He was a talented musician and his music will live on forever.

It was a magical time back around 1986 when we met him in Disneyland. My oldest daughter was 7 then. I would like to share one of the photos I nervously snapped that day.

His song and dance brought joy to many, may it continue to do so for generations to come.

Not a fan of his recent stunts, but I agree that he passed too soon. Too bad he didn't have a chance at his come back tour....I think he would have thrived.

I feel for his kids and family.

Re: Michael Jackson heart attack?

I was never a big fan of his back in the day when Thriller, Bad, etc came out, I was more of a straight up R&R fan.

As fate would have it, a few months ago (for whatever reason) I watched a bunch of youtube video of him singing and dancing back in the day. My wife gave me a big d'oh when I mentioned that he was a tremendous talent. I just didn't know and didn't care at the time. The grabbing his dick and one glove turned me off pretty solidly back then. Nonetheless, when I looked at his old performances recently I was blown away ... to see that dancing talent mixed with the music is really unusual. He was clearly the most multi-talented star of my generation.

Sad day, rest in peace Michael.

Serious question (this is not meant to be funny):
Is he going to be buried or put into the cryogenic chamber that he supposedly bought back in the 80s? Anyone heard anything about funeral arrangements?

Rush already has his own stream of jokes. I don't think it's gonna matter if he dies.

It's so bad, they ran a report on Michael's old monkey, bubbles, and how he is languishing in a monkey rescue out on the sticks of Florida.

Griffey usually wears dark blue gloves on both hands.

Thought this was kinda cool.

MJ is not really dead. He pulled off his supposed death so he could avoid all the hassles around his vast indebtedness. He is really in a Burger King in Traverse City, MI, drinking coffee with Elvis. :D

On some level that really wouldn't surprise me too much. Regardless of whatever your personal opinions of Jackson, the pressure of living under such a media bubble must be intense. I'm sure the idea of becoming totally anonymous must hold a lot of appeal for celebs, especially for people like Jackson who received mainly negative attention.

He could be the best Michael Jackson imitator ever! :r
