Re: What is the pricey cigar in your box

My most expensive cigar I assume would be Habano Festival from the 2000 Humidor however the most valubale cigar I have are the first "bunch" of cigar me and g/f bought. This is when i knew nothing and my g/f picked me some out because out of the two of us she was the expert because her Dad smoked cigars when she was little.

Being they were all cubans cuz we live in Canada she did a great job. Still have lots of them and refuse to smoke them as it reminds me of the glorious days when she started me on this great hobby.

Then why answer the questions? Why not pass over it and go onto something less offensive?

I may be mistaken but I do believe that the word expensive is a monitary adjective. This being said, how expensive and the value of a cigar has nothing to do with each other.

For me....

'80's Davidoff 5000

Why should I not also make my opinion known? I did so in a non-offensive manner and will continue to do so in the future.

I wasn't trying to suggest that your opinion should not be heard, I apologize if it came across the wrong way. It just almost seemed like you were annoyed with the question and yet still posted an answer. Again, if I came across the wrong way, it wasn't my intention.:tu

Probably the only FFOX I own, never smoked one, but I coudn't resist a pantela for $14 bucks. Next most expensive one is probably a DPG Maduro, and it goes all the way down to the slow aged 826's (a current fave)

Most likely it would be an 04 cohiba sublime that is the pride of my collection. It is a great motivator as I will only smoke it when I finish my undergrad degree

I don't think $20 would get me the first inch of ash off one of your cigars lol.

priciest? probably one of the opus Xs/anejos/casa fuentes I've been gifted over the years, which is kinda sad since they wouldn't even be in the top 10 of my tastiest in the humi list. :tu

I bought some down at the LCdh in London recently and I think it was either the PSD#3 or the 2 Bolivar Immensa's with the extra "1997" label I bought. I spent a lot that day :tu Me and My son smoked a party short in the shop after w brwsed and bought...The only indoor venue in all the British Isles I know of that you can still smoke. To bad it's so small and far away, not to mention expensive.

Re: What is the pricey cigar in your box

I've got a couple of Opus X I bought in Seattle Nov 2007, and a few Cohiba Siglo II's bought last spring 2008 from the motherland.

At full canadian retail, those are a ridiculous price. Luckily, I didn't pay full canadian retail! I think the Opus were around 15-17 US dollars, and the Cohibas landed price was around $10-12 each.

Priciest per inch/cm: Fuente Fuente OpusX Belicoso XXX

The Zino’s are a gift from my wife for my 27th b’day (set of 3).
The OpusX is the sole survivor of a duo which I bought for my wedding.
It will be smoked at my 2 yrs. anniversary this year
