Horrible thing to see a kid go through. I've seen a few on calls, but that was by far the worst compound fracture I've seen.

I was there when it happened. My wife and I went to get a drink at the concession stand. My son and his friend saw it. A Duke fan was nearly ejected and then nearly beat up when he wasn't ejected when he started yelling "Let's go Duke!" while they were putting him on a stretcher.

It was nasty and still makes me sick. So sad.. things like that happen. Playing adult softball, I can just be thankful nothing like this happened to me or anyone out there.. We are all just doing what we like. From pros, to college and down to recreational.

Hope he has a fast a awesome recovery.

It's very sad to see that happen and the pain he endured and will go through. I have to say it was heart warming to see my Cards come together and show so much class and support for their brother. Pulling for them to finish it for Kevin this year. Go Cards! Steve

Don't know how accurate this is, but on the radio they said he was up and walking today after going through a 2 hour surgery last night
