I've had a couple different Ramon Allones boxes with very loose draws. They burn a bit hot and fast, but I would much prefer that to a box where the cigars were very tight.

I agree , if a cigar is burning like that , at least you can slow down and let it cool off naturally.

I took them to the B&M and we smoked 4 of them. Only 1 of those smoked ok. The 3 were very loose and tasted empty. They swapped out the unsmoked sticks for credit. So I'm pleased. But still perplexed at how Padron's can have such varying quality like that.

First true bad box of cigars, where every single cigar so far (16 out of 25) have either been plugged or/and so harsh tasting that I have considered throwing the rest out. It was a box of Bolivar Petite Coronas (2011) purchased from the LCDH on 63rd in Varadero.
I knew I should of stuck with the true and tested cabinets of 50's instead of the dress box! |
