Throwing money at the problem hasnt work thus far. Makes me think of the US government's mentallity that you can solve the Big Three by throwing money at them. :confused:

I guess the Yankees have the new big three they are throwing money too, Burnett, Sabathia and Rivera.

Texiera would be a great pickup put paying more than 6yrs at 150 million is not worth it. I would like to see the Sox get him at 5 yrs 100 million

I want the Nats to sign him. That team's fans need at least one thing to cheer about.

I would rather see him go to DC and build up that franchise, if Lowell comes back healthy, we can survive without the payroll.
