i saw it at the local imax when it was first released. it was awesome there. the acoustics in the theater are just impecible and the dynamic capability of the sound is just crazy. the whole opening sequence of the bank robbery is filmed in imax format and several other important scenes plus some of the scenes over looking gotham and hong kong. christopher nolan is a freaken genius. i saw the movie again with my family while on vacation and we went to a normal theater, it just wasn't the same. i can't wait to fire up my system and watch it at home.

if it's anything like the iron man release every shop will get a unique packaging.

Damn, your HT can compete with IMAX?:wnr

Great movie as I saw it On Demand thru my cable company,,,HD. Can't even imagine it on 3D or Imax. Wonder what the best pricing is on this movie as I will probably buy it,,,it's that good.

Just got it along with Batman Begins. I've never seen either.

i thought about getting that one but then i remembered how annoying my iron man one is. ended up just buying the regular blu-ray. i think i already scratched my iron man disc 4 or 5 times and it's all from the case not fitting in the rack the right way.
