ifile is the best, easy to navigate and you can get anywhere within it. I hope you're using the real ifile from the app store that costed money :p

The angled images are just manually angled images that i made using a photoshop action. I;m on modmyi.com forums which is where this is released/discussed, and a lot of the stuff is in beta that i got access too from donating

Yes I paid 99 cents for iFile. I open it up and tere are only 4 folders to choose from with no way of getting system files, even thru the search feature.

there are 4 folders in ifiles default dir, but if you look above them you see that you are in /var/mobile - you can go back with the button in the top left that says var, think of it as unix's "cd .." going back one directory, and you can go back even farther /

looks like you have the wrong ifile.. should look like this.. also including a screenshot of iFile version/author and source (bigboss) so you can get the right sh1t.

I just found out I can get new 4.0 32gb's from apple for $299. I also found that I can hawk our 32gb 3gs's for around $400 on eBay. I'll be ordering our new ones tonight!!!

No, it's just upgrading my phone. I checked when I got home, my line is $299. Lisa's is $499 till May, and the other two lines are $499 till September.
Now I'm back on the fence.

There's a program called Dragon Naturaly Speaking for the computer. Not sure if it ever made it's way to the phone.

I have the app it's called Dragon Dictation. You can talk and text, send to facebook, email, twitter, and copy from it. I don't use it much but it works very well.

Greg is correct! Its called "Dragon Dictation", its the same company that makes the medical dictation software for Dr's. I use it fairly regularly to send txts when I'm driving as I hate people who txt and drive. Although I've recently discovered "HeyTell" as well which let's you send audio txts (I know) similar to a push to talk program. I usually only use that with my wife though.

Myles, I dig the indicator but it is a little more difficult to read than the regular wifi graphic

Just talked to Scott on that app it is very cool. Seems to work very fast. Not quite as fast as PTT but not far from it.

Out of curiousity -- how long can you guys go before having to charge your battery?

I usually have to charge mine 2-3 times per day and I figure I am not a heavy user :)

I listen to the radio over the Internet (specialized App) in the morning for an hour or so -- a few texts during the day, maybe a call or two, check out some teams on Sportacular and maybe a few games (bubbleshooter, backgammon, etc)...

Seems like the battery should last longer...

Hmmm......

My first iPhone 4 lasted way better than the new one but I still get about a day and a half out of my second one, and that is with a 3 yr old grandson on the phone playing games a great part of the day.
I would contact Apple as that does not sound right.

P.S.
I make sure I let it run down before charging.

as for the battery, once every second day. Just turn any notifications off you aren't using, turn off wifi when you aren't using it, its constant searching eats battery. Push notifications on email are big on battery usage, and turn your brightness down to where you're happy with it. After i turned off notifications on a bunch of crap i never used, battery lasted a lot longer

Does jailbreaking effect syncing with itunes? I was just wondering if itunes had a way to notice the phone is jailbroken.

Nope, still syncs flawlessly and beautifully - but obviously your jailbroken apps/files wont be copied to your computer - just apple's default stuff as usual

When you jailbreak your iphone you are presented with an app known as cydia - think of it as your new app store for jailbreak things, settings, tweaks, themes, etc. you can still use the app store too, jailbreaking just gives you more customizing
