Thanks for the suggestions gents. I don't see Installous when searching cydia, is it from an alternate source?

I have used Tethering with the unjailbreaked version of my phone, and i have 6gb per month data with my provider, what would MyWi do for me?

Yeah, MyWi is great, but DONT try to install the cracked version of mywi... That locked up my phone and caused me to lose my original jailbreak

got a jMac 1.4 theme, i love its icons, and just used a background from some bg image pack. I like this look kind of, but i want a light color less busy wallpaper kind of like the original osx tiger default wall. HD icons for the win :) :)

oo, lookin good! Once i'm more familiar with the icons i'll get rid of the writing too. one thing i noticed is that some of the icons that came with this theme work - others dont. I was looking around in the themes directory to know this :p

having a problem. Tried applying a new theme which i know has its own wallpaper, but it's continuing to use the default iphone wallpaper, even tho it applies the icons etc from the theme. I did a system reset all settings, nothing else is selected in winterboard except the theme, and summerboard mode is on, wtf.

Turn Summerboard mode off. Oftentimes the new theme releases are programmed in Winterboard so when trying to use them in Summerboard mode it causes some issues. I had this issue once before with Echo's "Hello Kitty" theme. It fixed the problem :tu

Hmmmm ok...... first make sure that the specified theme is at the top of the list in Winterboard. Move it up past everything else. Then make sure that the specified theme doesn't have more than one component. I had the Pro 365 theme and it had like 10 things I had to check off or uncheck depending on how I wanted it to look. So check down at the bottom of the winterboard list just to make sure. If that fails... go into Cydia and try and re-install the theme itself.

LOL, I installed a gauge to tell me how much more room I have left on my iPhone. As you can see, I always keep it packed full to the brim with music, movies, apps etc etc :cool:

I think that shelf one is ielegance pro (2.49) and you can use it in conjuction with 5 icon dock addon i think.

i threw this theme on my phone, its called Suave HD and theres a big community of ppl creating new and custom icons all the time, thousands and thousands of them. Too bad its a boring ass theme, here it is on my phone temporarily till i find something better

Maybe someone can help. I hot the ielegnce them. In the screen shots, the calculator, the phone keypad the lock screen are all BadAss and my them has none of that. I can't seem to figure out what the deal is.

I went to the developers websites FAQ but nothing was obvious. For those more experienced, can you help me out?

I got the PRO one. If you get a chance check out the screen shots. Their awesome. My phone, not awesome.

I slid the PRO thing in Winterboard everywhere. On top of the others. Under the others. In the middle. Etc. I don't even see any of those options in Winterboard. Or anywhere else.

i just bought the pro one to see what you're talking about, in the screen shots - my calculator and dialer didn't look the same either.

Sadly, after some searching i found a thread, and the author said this theme wasnt made for the iphone 4, and he isn't sure if he's going to be updating it to work. He also goes on to say to get his theme ELITE HD or whatever. I'm not too keen on shelling out another couple bux after seeing this one fail after paying for it. Nah, we're both out $2.49 - buyer beware i guess. The guy has two full HD themes Elite Pro and Classified HD for 1.99 and 2.99 respectively (i believe) - I won't be purchasing either.

heres another theme i got that i like called GlaskGlart HD - it was free, not crazy about it still, the background is from the creator dudes site i think. (got it myself)

well, first i spent 2.49 on the theme we both bought. Then i think 1.99 on the Elite PRO theme, not realizing the one i actually wanted was Elite Pro HD - So i spent another 3.99 on that one, and got the Color Signal and Wifi bars package from Cydia (because i didn't like the default signal/wifi bars in this theme) (still not as much as the price of a good retail cuban cigar - so i ain't complaining lOL) :)

here are my lock screen and home screen. It also has really nice load screens, calculator, dialer, etc etc.

Would you believe I did the same exact thing. Bought elite pro. Then bought elite pro HD. How do you get five icons in your dock?

What's also weird is everything I get from Installous disappears when I sync to iTunes. That's normal, I suppose?

No really. I got the five icon dock. Dosnt show up in winterboard matter what I try. I got the weather add on for Elite pro hd but can't edit the file because me file reader can't find it. Which means I can't change the weather off of, lakemore, I think.

You know. All sorts of problems...

i'm not sure what a file reader is, i use Ifile to navigate and edit/move files.

Five icon dock just works for me. Just install it and drag a 5th icon to your dock..the exact one i have is called "Five Icon Dock" and its from Cydia/Telesphoreo (tweaks)

Man I'm an idiot! I never saw it in winterboard so I never even tried to add another icon! Sweet. How do you get yours angled? They look BadAss. If it's a trade secret, no worked Brother.

I have iFile but i can't seem to view a file outside of the stock documents and picture folders.

So I got fileviewer which let's me go down the tree starting with system folders but o no avail because I get the following error.

The operation couldn’t be completed. (WebKitErrorDomain error 101.)

I don't know what's going on.
