Jordan Allena last night playing a show for Operation Homefront in Memphis, TN.
This is 35mm, but I took my 200mm f/4 AI manual focus lens last night, and it really made me happy again. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5482/1...ca753128_c.jpg Jordan Allena - Nikon D7000 - Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G by Brad-(OLS), on Flickr |

Re: Photography Thread
Another Jordan Allena....I might delete the other one once it falls off the page. I am not a big fan of the shot. But it shows her rockin lil' body.

Re: Photography Thread
Neat shots all...Jeff, I like the way Queen Victoria is holding the Holy Hand grenade of Antioch.
NOLA was a blast. Couldn't have come home with a more diverse selection of crap if I had stayed on another 4 hours like I intended to. Something told me to get home instead....good idea. Ice storm forming up in Memphis on my return. Slush in streets already 2 inches thick. I will remember NOLA fondly as we wring the last cold out of Spring 2014. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7297/1...c12a5937_c.jpg To Show or Not to Show by Brad-(OLS), on Flickr |

Took this one this morning. Again a little uneven, but I only had time to take one

Re: Photography Thread
Helluva shot, Ben. Great idea to get it done while the snow was on the ground. Of course THERE, maybe it hasn't all melted
and there was no rush, haha. I thought about taking a snow shot across my street yesterday evening, and it was all gone this morning. BUT I DID GET TO NOLA... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7371/1...26b1b42b_c.jpg Destrehan Manor by Brad-(OLS), on Flickr |
Re: Photography Thread
As a kid (or and adult) in NOLA, you have this SHIRT, this hideous shirt you wear one day a year, or several days
a year for only a week. it is your Mardi Gras-colored polo, which if you think is hideous in the vertical stripe mode, you should see in horizontal stripes. But I digress...I saw this kid playing on this railing while watching a parade, and I couldn't shoot fast enough. GREAT key lighting from the ground source, outside a bank. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2338/1...0eca4dfe_c.jpg Mardi Gras Kid - Nikon D7000 Nikkor 55-200mm DX lens by Brad-(OLS), on Flickr |
Re: Photography Thread
Here is another photo I shot for Print Sales. I am going to be shooting a lot more of these over the weekend.
If you see one you like, perhaps you can buy a print. http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/...ps09b5ba5f.jpg |
Re: Photography Thread
That shot of the kid is awesome! I'm going to be down on Jekyll Island and Savannah, GA in April, so there are a lot of great opportunities there. I may head on down to St. Augustine to shoot the Castillo de San Marcos there, and up to Charleston SC also.

Road-tripped with the family this week and among our stops was Ottawa, where Parliament Hill is in the midst of a mutli-year restoration project pegged to cost Canadian taxpayers more than $1billion before it's done.
