I know a lot of local places might have parts though. Like around here I can still get high capacity magazines at normal prices. Please PM me if you know of anywhere that might have these in stock. I have spent 5 days searching the internet with no luck. Thanks!

Windham weaponry has M4 barrels assembly's, my buddy ordered one Tuesaday.

Not sure on the BCG

Justin I personally wouldn't touch that Taurus with a 10' pole - to many mim parts. Kind of too different animals a 5" 1911 (well sort of, haha) compared to the xds with a 3.3" barrel. What are you looking for a range .45 or a carry .45?

To answer your question I like it, I shoot a lot in 2011 fired over 10k rounds. i do find the recoil pretty stout. It is almost identical in size to my glock 26 & 27 just thinner in the grip which makes it easier to conceal. Its a nice change I used carry my glock 20, then went to the little ruger LCP now I feel like a man again :r

How do you like it? I'm torn between that and a Taurus PT1911 w/rail

Grabagun has them for less btw. $523 for the black

Good luck. BCGs have been super hard to come by for the past couple months and now it's worse. You may want to go over to AR15.com and look in the equipment exchange for a bcg and barrel. Prepare to be buttraped though. BCGs are going for $300 each

I may or may not have back ordered 4 more stripped lowers during the late night hours. If I did, that makes 8 stripped lowers from 8 different manufacturers are on order.

I am looking at getting a Remington 870, prolly 18 inch barrel in a month or so.. Doing the research still.

Dennis I have no problem with the MIM parts. I used to own a Metro Arms AC2 that was basically the same deal, and it ran great. MIM parts when done right are fine.

I want a carry and range gun. I know I can carry a 5" 1911 with a good holster as I did that before with the AC2. Decisions decisions.

I had the .357sig in a sig 226 loved the round and the weapon. Reloading was a bear and it became very expensive to buy ammo. I did manage to make some defense rounds in 357sig that were pushing 1400 fps and my math says it was approaching 500ft/lbs knockdown while keeping the chamber pressure to around 43000 psi. Loved shooting those at the range! Everyone would stop to see what I was shooting.

Take a look at the new Mossberg Flex that allows easy change of stock to any format and comes with rail.
Saw it in person at recent show and fell in love.

For me, That is to much money. I can get the Remington, before the end of the year for 299.99. It will mainly sit in the house.. maybe see a range once a month or every other. I am more going for a home protection gun and fun. I Have never hunted in my life.

I would something that is decent, decent gun and decent on the check book.

I know everyone has a range/threshold of what they will spend but it is only $100 more and from that you have a cruiser, standard or tactical, all in one.

Maybe I was viewing the wrong one. For 100 bucks more, I'd do it.

happens all the time... when i was getting my ccw the range master had to come over to see what all that noise was, apparently it is louder then the .40's and .45's that were being shot around me. :r and yes it is a smoking little round! :tu

Yup.
Here it is at Bud's. I guess demand has made it go up a few bucks but still reasonable.

I thought about ordering a Spikes stripped lower from DSGarms the other night ($89, cheap)... even added it to my cart. Then I realized I've never purchased a gun online and have no idea where to ship it near me. :tg

Well Carlos, I'll be at a show tomorrow, but no way in hell I expect to find any mags!

Whatever you do don't buy Taurus. I had bad experiences with Taurus and I was glad to sell mine.

I had a PT140 that was total junk, however my 605 .357 revolver was a nice little gun.
