Re: Games thread!
The first Goldeneye has a place in my heart and I didn't know there was a new version until a few days ago. I might have to pick it up.

Re: Games thread!
I still break out the N64 every now and again to play it.
|
Re: Games thread!
I've always busted out either the nes or super nes but never the 64. I kinda want to tonight. :D

Mario Kart 64 was fun and I always liked Wave Runner for some odd reason. Perfect Dark was fun.

Just walked thru Force Unleashed 2
On medium difficulty, while at work, total play time less than 6 hrs :td Except for a couple of poorly timed jumps I think I was only killed twice. Looks great but not worth the $60 |

Re: Games thread!
Wii Sports Resort table tennis rocks! I particularly love the way my moron Mii stands on one side of the table after a return, leaving the opponent wide open for a slam. Or when I work the computer Mii way out of position, and the Wii "misinterprets" my topspin slam as a nice soft lob. I just had to shut the Wii off to save the new TV from a Wii remote related injury.

So, I'm playing mostly single player, and I'm just about up to the champion. It's just annoying when your Mii does stupid sh!t. Or when the AI gives itself a break, like a weak return of a topspin slam that just catches the edge of the table and bounces away, unreturnable... Swordplay is the same way. I studied Japanese martial arts for years, and the mechanics are very true to shinai sparring. Until you get up to the point where the AI can instantaneously change the angle of its sword 180 degrees... :r Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Games thread!
Just Dance 2. Good game to play with the kids. Gives you a pretty good workout too.

Re: Games thread!
Running through Borderlands GOTY lately. I've got such a backlog from the Steam Christmas sale that I shouldn't have to buy a game until Elder Scrolls V.

Re: Games thread!
My girlfriend goes "Hey do you want my PS3, I never seem to use it and I'm sure you could get much more out of it than I could"
My life is awesome sometimes. Playing Uncharted 1, and loving every minute of it. |

Re: Games thread!
Change of pace....picked up Animal Crossing City Folk on the Wii for my 8 year old daughter while I was off last week. GREAT family game if you have little ones. For us bigger kids it looks like it has a lot of unlockables/collectables so I can at least keep entertained when we take turns and she wants to watch me play for awhile. :tu

I guess I suck. I played Black Ops during the double XP weekend and went from level one to level 10 in about three hours. My 8 yr old went from 2-10 in about 30 minutes.

Re: Games thread!
I didn't play at all for dbl xp weekend. oh well.

I'm also considering grabbing the new Gran Turismo for PS3 as well. And I'll be fine. I dislocated it back before the new year, and it isn't healing quite right. They'll move the shoulder into the right place and then sew it in place to make sure it doesn't slip out again in the future. I have 2 weeks (minimum) of healing, so I figure I'll have a solid 7-10 days where I'll feel like playing some games :) |
Re: Games thread!
